En fantastiskt vacker och spännande platts. Belägen på en liten ö i en liten sjö finner vi Eksjöhovgårds slottsruin. Av den engång så magnifika gården finns nu endast ruinen av den en gång ståtliga fyravånings huvudbyggnaden kvar men trotts att tidens tand tärt på slottet kan man ändå känna historiens vindar ila mellan de kalla stenväggarna. Der Ort mit dem See und der Ruine ist sehr schön und die Ruine an sich echt beeindruckend. Man kann sich die Ruine in Ruhe angucken, mehr ist es aber auch nicht. Im Regelfall dauert der Besuch nicht länger als 5 Minuten. Kann ich dennoch empfehlen! Schöne Ruine, mal was zwischendurch ohne großes Tam Tam ... Parkplatz ist ausreichend und mit einer Toilette. Man kann noch wandern gehen und weitere schöne Bilder machen. Die Ruine selber wird an einigen Stellen gestützt und sieht teilweise geflickt aus ;) der Kamin scheint ab und zu befeuert zu werden... Der Ort ist ideal um eine Zwischenstop einzulegen mit Picknick... Ein Besuch lohnt sich auf jeden Fall. Kinder haben auf jeden Fall Spass die Ruine zu erkunden. A beautiful castle ruin for everyone to visit. It is easily accessible for all, including wheelchair, rollator or a stroller. There is a parking area for different kind of vehicles, and there are also toilets. The castle it self triggers your imagination in several ways and is beatiful to look at as and walk throug. The area is great for a picnic in the grass surrounded by the water or sit at the tables. Experience the years from the past and at the same enjoy the presence of here and now. A great combination by the water. Passade på att spana in denna ruin när jag ändå fick rast i området. Har nog varit fint en gång i tiden. Lätta att ratta in eftersom det ligger vid vägen.
