Esternamente la struttura non presenta torri e questo a testimonianza dell'utilizzo a cui era destinato più come dimora di campagna piuttosto che a scopo difensivo. Diverse le ristrutturazioni subite negli anni che lo portano oggi ad essere la sede del municipio, asilo, ambulatorio medico e sala per mostre ed eventi che qui vengono spesso allestite. Nota a margine ma rilevante è la cortesia del Sig. Luca che ha accolto me, mia moglie e nostro figlio di 19 anni per apporre il timbro sulle credenziali del pellegrino lungo la Via Francisca del Lucomagno. Grazie.
