My instructor was Gonzalo and I did an open water course. I went in to talk to Sarah first who was very knowledgeable about scuba and everything that went with it. I was very hesitant at first but Sarah put me at ease with how experienced she was! Gonzalo was an incredible teacher. The course only has one other person on it which allowed us to get very intensive training. It was incredible all the things I learnt. I never thought I would ever be able to do any of them but Gonzalo was patient, kind and encouraging the whole time. The sites we went to were beautiful and I found a fishing rod as my first treasure! It was such an incredible and one that I will never forget. I already can't wait to go back for Christmas to hopefully get some more in. Thank you so much, I highly recommend!! absolutely fantasic. loved my and got my 12m certification. Uncomplicated and really safe feeling with our instructor. I went today (April) with Ola and it was fantastic. Dont be scared that waters will be too cold in April... they are not. Well we had 2.5mm shorty and 5mm long Wetsuit on and still enjoyed it. So dont be scared... just do it ;) I always felt safe and Ola pointed out and knew so much about marine life that i wouldnt have seen/known yet. They speak Spanish, English, Polish and are really nice and knowledgable. We saw cuttlefish, triggerfish (yes, really), rays, congers, an octopus and many beautiful nudibranches. So now its your turn to try them yourselves ;) First for 18 months and was looked after really well. Thank you. Marcin is a very experienced instructor and guide. Together with Sara they will make you feel right at home, and let you enjoy the beautiful sites near Torrox in a relaxed atmosphere. Very highly recommended! Very friendly and professional Centre: - Over the past 2 months I’ve had the pleasure of with Black Frog Divers, first booking a 10-dive package and then coming back for another few dives. All the staff are professional, extremely friendly and helpful and the team are enthusiastic, knowledgeable and chilled in their approach making it a very enjoyable experience. Although chilled I felt that safety always came first and at no time above or below the water diver’s safety was ever compromised. All where shore based around the Marina Del Este area depending on weather conditions. Sara did an excellent job in arranging and scheduling my over the 2 months. Thanks for all your help! I wasn't expecting much from mid winter, off-season Med to be honest...I glad to say I was wrong. The was good, Marcin (DM) is a pro and a pleasure to with, the equipment in good condition (not one busted O-ring all week) and the biggest Doris nudi ever, I kid you not as big as this S21 I'm typing on. Super friendly and professional. Great first I decided at the last minute to do a couple whilst visiting Nerja, and Black Frog Divers were very accommodating to my short notice requests. They operate during the low season, which is ideal. They picked me up on the way to the site, which saved me a lot of hassle. With my gear all prepared for me in advance. Our guide Marcin is obviously very experienced, and has a great eye for spotting some of the well hidden marine life. We saw a great variety of different marine life, plenty of octopuses, stargazers, nudibranchs and electric rays. And we explored some interesting rock formations. All round great experience, punctual, informative and reasonably priced. I’d happily go again. A fantastic and we all had a great time. Our instructor Ola, was amazing, she explained everything and was very patient and made sure we were all safe and felt happy to dive. I can highly recommend Black Frog Divers and will use them again.
