The small park that leads you from the parking to the memorial itself is nice. The memorial is in a shape of a pyramid. This is not very usual for Slovakia. Cez krasnu stromovu alej dojdete k zulovej mohyle v tvare pyramidy. Da sa tu aj sadnut, blizke upravene kroviska Vam zabezpecia tien. Parkovanie je zadarmo a z parkoviska su to asi 2 minuty peso k mohyle. Da sa ist bezbarierovo a aj s kociarom. Boli sme včera na bikoch . Bolo počasie akurát . Celkom príjemné miesto, len by tam mohli dat aj koše na odpadky. It is far to walk and there is no navigation shields. There is zero infrastructure, except for a trash bin. It is for free. The description shields are only in local language. No toilets. And not even a shed if it would rain. It has a huge potential, not fully engaged. Unusual and well kept monument. It's very small and there is no turist facilicities, like parking, information about monument in foreign languange, refreshments, etc. You literaly park in the middle of the field, take fews pictures and that's all you can do there. Also, you can't get there by public transport. But for that reason you rarely find more people there. Nevertheless the place is interesting and important if you understand its history. Also, it can be combined with visit of nearby Bratislava airport where the plane of M.R.Stefanik can be seen on display and you can also read about him and about his tragic history. Alternativly, the monument is located in countryside setting, next to cycle track. For lovera of cycling it can be nice addition to their trip.
