It used to be a bomb shelter before it was converted into a cozy and cheap bar. The atmosphere downstairs is excellent, but unfortunately it is also a smoking area, which is a big no for many people. While we were there there was no smoking, the service was and we even got complimentary 🍿🤩 If smoking is a big no, then they also have plenty of cozy outside seating. Would go again! Super nice and atmospheric bar... And how can it be so cheap? You can actually get wine for less than €2! We also got free popcorn. Would definitely recommend 😍 This is a place to be if you want to see the different place. It used to be public toilets at the past. I was searching for it all over the place and couldn't find it. Because it is underground, you just find the strange door open it and go inside. I liked Lucky baztard a lot, plus or minus they smoke inside the bar. A strange cozy place for beer. Such a cool underground bar created inside former public baths. I loved the décor, the atmosphere, and the music! The staff were super friendly and welcoming. We enjoyed good beers, always served with freshly made on the side. Be aware that smoking is allowed inside, but there are also outdoor seating areas available. Overall, a really fun and unique spot – highly recommended! One of the public toilet to bar convert. Entrance is unique and the interiors are cosy. One of the few places where you can smoke while inside the establishment. Quite decent selection of beers on tap and some wines. Adequate service. Washrooms are clean. The look and feel of the place is the selling point for me. The choices are ok, plenty of IPA and sours if that's what you like. I wanted black/dark lager but there wasn't any. Be aware that smoking is allowed inside - maybe a surprise if you're not used to it. However you do get free popcorn! Easy to miss if you're not looking for it, so LOOK FOR IT! This place has a range of drinks, including some excellent craft beers. Staff are very friendly and will help you pick a to your taste. It's not a large venue; the low-light underground with dark wood and brass eclectic decor could easily have made it cramped, but the space is used well. When we visited, there was a mix of locals and tourists and a relaxed atmosphere with some good music (mostly rock, not loud enough to prevent conversation). If we hadn't discovered it on our last night in the city then we'd probably have spent a disproportionate amount of time here. Very knowledgeable staff, I couldn't decide what to have because there are so many options but the bar staff was so helpful and gave me recommendations and then let me try before committing. The vibe is fantastic, with every drink. I'd come back to Bratislava just for this edgy little underground bar. They also have seats out in the sun too if you'd prefer the heat! We paid €3.40 each for our IPA's too! 5 stars! I ordered the most basic of all, a pale lager. It was catastrophically infected, literally microbiologically totally screwed up, unsafe to drink. I am writing this as a pro brewer of 10 years, with tons of judging experience to boot. Waitress offered to replace the after I told her what the situation is. Then she proceeded to charge me for both of the beers, saying that nobody else complained. Lol. A deserved 1 star. In such a small city where everything is close, there is really no need to visit this hole. Avoid, you only have one health, this place is literally dangerous. Go somewhere else. Very cool and sweet bar, good and also the price is great. Really interesting interior. A relaxing yet invigorating place to grab a drink. I came alone and felt perfectly welcomed and comfortable.
