Went there solely for malakoff as the usual restaurant we dined was closed. The atmosphere here was fine but a bit noisy as the kids at the tables behind made too many noises. The staff were friendly and attentive though. As for the malakoff, the cheese centre was well seasoned but a bit heavy on the pepper used. The bread was however not fully brown to perfection. The first serving with salad is just CHF 12, and each extra Malakoff is CHF 7.60, which is well worth it. The Chasse menu is also a highlight, particularly the noix de chevreuil, which comes in a generous portion and is incredibly tender. The service is warm and welcoming, making the dining experience even better. They stay open all weekend without closing midday, making it convenient to stop by anytime. With recent renovations, the ambiance feels fresh and inviting. Overall, an excellent choice for a delicious, hearty meal. OK food, abysmal service. The malakoff was nice, the salad and meat were good, and lots of pickles to go with it, but the service was the rudest I've ever experienced. Served by a waitress who was angry that we didn't speak fluent French and were made to feel thoroughly unwelcome - she went so far as to slam food on our table, refuse to give us the wine menu, and not bring us our dessert course. It was so bad I emailed the restaurant but did not get a reply. Only go here if your French is excellent or you want to find out what Basil Fawlty might have been like. It is a beautiful restaurant with a beautiful view of Lake Leman and where I ate something new for my Malakoff that my family like so much, in Switzerland almost everything has cheese, and a very delicious wine from the region, it was delicious Very tasty! It ressembles to the italians aranchinis but with cheese only it tastes differently. You need two or three to feel good. Nice Food but incredibly unpleasant service staff. Would have to say take the cheese and cook at home.
