Aside that, the staff is friendly and attentive, the atmosphere is cozy with views to the picturesque area of the Old town. The prices are reasonable too. My friend went to go grab one for the counter. Luckily it's in English and had clear vegetarian symbols making it easier to read I still had questions and luckily had a friend to translate. Even then I found like many places staff don't really know what's in the dish and are annoyed if you ask. So customer service isn't priority Food is plentiful and tasty so top marks for that. I had the fried cheese which come with potatoes, I wasn't asked which ones and they just served fries. I didn't really want to ask for this changed as the attitude wasn't great to start with. While we waited a waitress had opened the door to take food outside but on return no-one closed the door so we had a draft for the whole time we were there. The moment we left, they decided to close the open door Service pretty poor but food was tasty There were 3 waiters ready to serve us when we got here. Pavol got our order and was really kind and polite, recommended some nice traditional dishes and we ordered in English which was great. The traditional food was quite ans experience (a positive one!) and the atmosphere was amazing, a lot of locals having their evening meal and both English and Slovak music playing in the background! Would recommend! When it comes to the food its great. You can order variety of local dishes or sth more fancy like burger. The best advantage of this place is definitely alcohol especially beer🍺. You should definitely try their option of 5 mini beers. The schnitzel was totally fine, burger the same. The staff was not nice especially one waiter who was interrupting us and commented negatively about our dish choices instead of proposing some other options. It made us want to leave instantly after we ate. Also the salad was missing in the first place so we had to remind the staff. We always like to go here with my mates, the atmopshere is always chilled out! Eric is the best server! Always up for craic and to joke around! :) Big up mate! Boholoin was very helpful and attentive. We went in the afternoon and again in the evening. The beer is very fresh unpasteurised and unfiltered and not full of co2 but still has a beautiful creamy head and tastes fantastic. Nice outdoor heating and cool brick decor. I had chicken wings and roasted veg which were brilliant with the beer. Recommended Visited again yesterday and Janci was also very helpful and he recommended the beef neck with either dill or horseradish with dumplings, “his grandmothers favourite “, it was very good the beef was tender the dumplings light and airy. My wife had dill and I had horseradish. I’d recommend this dish as well.
