The best think about this place is its interior. I enjoyed staying at this place because of this reason a lot. Waiter waiting me and my friends' table had a problem to hear me all the time and seemed kind of confused to me. But at least he recommended me beer that suited me. I had pirohy for dinner. They were fried and looked differently that the ones we are used to make at home. I found the fiend in a lot of oil and they were a little tough. I would go for something else the next time if I return to this place. Service was good, English menu and waiter spoke, too. He advised us about their beers. Food was delicious, especially salad with goat cheese. It was the only restaurant in the area with kitchen open till 21 on Sunday night. First time going there and we had a positive experience. The beer, the food, the service was on a satisfying level, nothing extra, just a normal place to dine in. They also have a projector, so you can watch football or hockey there. Wonderful place to hop on by when in Ružinov. Whrn I lived in the district I'd often go down to Komín for Sunday lunch to have Sviečková & Knedla or dumplings. It's such a little vibey place with wonderful staff, a cozy industrial interior steeped in history and food to die for. This time around we went for my usual of Svieckova & Dumplings, and Duck leg with Lonkše (A sort of potato "naan"). Everything was delicious and more than worth the price! Would recommend for families & big groups since the tables here are huuuuge. Fantastic food at this brewery. Komin means chimney and the brewery is located beneath an old chimney surrounded by market stalls. Excellent choice for experiencing authentic Slovakian food, drunk and atmosphere. Well done guys!! I'm a fan of heavy, flavorful food and I was very satisfied here. Super tasty pork, ribs and of course dumplings. Great beer that looks to be brewed on site. I will be back. When I arrive in a new place, I make sure to get recommendations from a local so I know I won't fall into tourist traps. The recommendation I received for Komin was subtle in relation to the actual experience of the place. In the middle of the market, where there used to be a brewery and a butcher shop, there is a restaurant with a cool vibe, excellent in-house-brewed beers, tasty unpretentious food, and warm, personal service (thanks, Michael). A heart-warming experience on a cold Slovak night, highly recommended. One of the worst services I've experienced. We could barely communicate with the waiter, good thing we like playing activity. He just tossed all the stuff on the table, some of which was just straight up filthy. We felt like they just wanted us to be gone, and get it over with. Unacceptable behavior, completely ruined what otherwise could've been a pleasant meal. They also expected us to leave a tip after being treated like dirt, what a joke. One of the best restaurant in Bratislava. Food are really delicious staffs are friendly they are smiling but can’t communicate in English. Overall highly recommended!!! The waiter was very pleasant, he immediately recommended local beer and food. We did not regret taking his advice, the duck leg with red cabbage was delicious. Later, the owner of the place greeted us. Friendly staff and excellent food and beer. They charge extra fee on your bill, which isnt mentioned before. Then the unpolite staff asking also for extra tip. Without any agreement he charged 10euros more on my 16euros check. He pushed the terminal to my card before asking me, with extra 10euros on the bill. After if you asked them what is that, they do like they dont understand what you talking about. waiters cant behave polite, serving dirty glasses and low quality average foods. This kind of hospitality isnt correct. They had made bratislava "better"😂 Website change monitoring Monitor any webpage for changes – get instant email alerts when prices drop, new jobs are posted, products come back in stock, or competitors update their sites.
