Posada de la Hermandad

Toledo, Spain Exhibit

Top-rated.online cuts through the clutter, highlighting only the reviews that are most helpful, earn the most likes, or come from the most active contributors. Very well kept site with interesting catapults scattered around. The tour is quite short and easy to navigate and finish quickly. For fans of siege warfare, this exhibit is phenomenal. The ability to examine scale models of working siege weaponry from the Roman Empire forward to trebuchets is truly astonishing. All those 1 Star reviewers had no idea what they were seeing and the historical significance. It's worth far more than 5€ if you know what you're seeing. A really great experience. The museum is small but very well laid out with details in both English and Spanish. As others have mentioned it goes through the history of war in Spain but with a focus on siege weapons ranging from bow and arrow and crossbow all the way up onto trebuchet and catapults. The museum features recreations and detailed information along with four rooms including a former dungeon where prisoners were held. The staff spoke both English and Spanish as well as some French. It's currently 5, 50 euro to enter. A little off the beaten trail and might not show up on lists of best things to do in Toledo but is highly recommended. Interesting exhibition about artillery and siege equipment. Well worth the price. Rude recepcionist, the entry cost €6 per person and it's only 3 rooms with some poorly finished models that look like a school project. It's absolutely not worth your money. Scam. Avoid. I regret not checking Google reviews before going in. This is not a “museum” - read the other reviews and don’t waste your money thinking this is worth exploring. Small but chock full of interesting facts and models related to siege warfare. The admission was a bit steep for what it was, so only go for it if you already have an interest in medieval warfare! Rude receptionist. Exhibits are mostly plastic replicas. There is a basement that has modern iron bars and is apparently a dungeon. Very expensive and not recommended :( Website change monitoring Monitor any webpage for changes – get instant email alerts when prices drop, new jobs are posted, products come back in stock, or competitors update their sites.
