It’s an old skool rugby league in the super league has 3 sides covered old school terrace style gates one opened terrace but seems to be built up by containers has hospitality areas I mean it’s championship grade at most but they got into super league so fair play to them but it’s basically a tin pot shell but the the home fans create is just mind blowing The Jungle was certainly an experience. Lots of fans at the game.Great atmosphere. The fans are very supportive of the Tigers ....and that's Grrreat.🤘🤘🤘🐯🐯🐯 Great ground, a proper rugby league stronghold. Don't expect a ton of facilities but you're guaranteed a great atmosphere. First time to a Rugby League game and enjoyed it. Normally follow the Union. But converted now and hope to go to more games next season. Last home match of this season and a lot of players and the Coach leaving the club. A new Coach and a lot of new players, so rebuilding the next season. Easy to find and there is parking. Signposted and just follow them or the other supporters. Great family the crowd really get behind the team. They did not play well in the first half at all. Neither did the referee. A much better second half display and showed what they really can play like. Unfortunately Warrington hung on to a slender lead and won. A great night out and well worth going and supporting your local side, The Castleford Tiger's. Love this place. It is my church where I worship Been coming here for over 30 years and I just love it. Looking forward to the new stadium but love Wheldon road stadium. The best game there is, is played here Like stepping back in time. Can't deny when full and is winning its a great and far better experience wise than some of the souless modern RL stadia but lacks good modern facilities. Nice place... the plays well.. but they need a very good budget, good coach, and overall improvement to compete with the best out there If you want a safe friendly game to take your child , the tigers is the place to go, great staff , amazing stewards , especially sallie at the disabled seating area, Even the players make time to talk and have photos with u , Also castleford tiger's are the best Yorkshire Always enjoy the best fans in rugby league other clubs fans talk about how old the is but also enjoy the food trucks are alot better we are heading in the right direction My favorite ground.
