A very underrated ground for me Bramall Lane is totally inclosed on 3 sides the other corner is filled with administrative offices makes it a great ground with character over all its a decent day out and on the plus side its only 10 mins walk from the train station .An intresting fact that Bramall Lane is the oldest major football ground in the world The ground blends into the apartments and restaurants. Only 15 min walk from the city center. They lost 0-6 to Arsenal, so many left their seats at half time Argyle on tour !! Not been here for over 10yrs and I always remember it as a real hotbed of football. But.....although it is iconic it hasn't changed physically very much, the home support this time round was abysmal. We outsang 26k of their all match. Top of the league and we deserved a draw but as per usual we lost. Nice chicken balti pie and spacious concourse. Not far from town or the train station ....ah well, another 5hr train journey back to Devon !!! Nice club, good facilities and good food and drink. It is clearly a family and has a friendly feel to it. Stewards and officials were professional although a wee bit strict and we as visiting supporters were not allowed to take our flags into the ground unless they had a fireproof label on them !!! We actually buy them from our clubs Megastore and they don't have such a label even though they are official merchandise. So that was disappointing as we have never encountered this rule before, not even at Wembley stadium. Yet they are trialling taking plastic pint cups of beer to your seats within the 🏟 !!! We traveled to see Sheffield United against Fullham FC of on March 30, 2024. We visited the fan shop for a kit. And had a cheeseburger on the corner at Beer Dog. Match was sensational. A 0-0 score at halftime. Then Sheffield fell behind 0-1. But in a spectacular half they went up to 3-1. Referee added 14 extra minutes to the game. And Fullham came back to draw at 3-3 ⚽️ Bramall Lane, home of Sheffield United Football Club, is a historic and well-regarded that offers a fantastic matchday experience. As one of the oldest professional football grounds still in use, it boasts a rich heritage and passionate fanbase, creating an electric atmosphere during games. The is well-maintained, with good sightlines from nearly all areas, ensuring feel close to the action. The facilities, including seating, food, and drink options, are solid, and the staff are helpful and friendly. Whether you're a Blades fan or just a football enthusiast, visiting Bramall Lane is always a memorable experience. Recently had a great experience in the Tony Currie suite on the SUFC vs Luton game. It was a shame about the result however, this did not ruin the great experience provided by the club. We got to meet Tony Currie as well as he was in the suite which was a great bonus. The food and service from the staff in the hospitality was great and we had fantastic seats for the view of the game. Clean and welcoming stadium, although it’s fair to say the away stand is the worst of the lot. If you’re at the rear seats expect some minor obscuring of your view. Plentiful pies (a that knows how to stock. Thumbs up). Only one (alcohol) beer and 1 cider, but chilled properly. Clean toilets. Easy access and exit. Limited police presence and home and away all mingle at the end, no separation. The best in Yorkshire. ⚽ Very well kept Home facilities with friendly staff. Great seats and views within the stadium. Well kept and maintained. Normal football prices for food and drinks. Always a pleasure visiting! Nice tissue box stadium. Sheffield extremely quiet in the first half to say there top of the championship. Sheffield came alive in the second half and contributed to a good atmosphere. Final result 1-1. Come on you Baggies💙🤍 Problems downloading my son’s season tickets. Quick email and a very prompt response has it sorted. Great as always.
