It is a very big place. It has a dedicated area for small and one for bigger kids. Compared to the other big kids' indoor playgrounds, it offers little entertainment. The restaurant was only semi functional. The staff stressed. It feels a bit like they are going out of business. Still one visit, it will entertain the for 1 to 2 hours. Parking is difficult. A wonderful indoor play area. I brought my 15 month old here for 3 hours on a Friday morning and had a great time. The staff were also all very friendly and helpful. The food wasn't very healthy, but they did also have gluten free buns 🙂 Edit: just been for the second time and it's even better as the children get older! Very friendly staff again. We really enjoy the area for smaller kids. There is a lot to do there and it's specious. It is also well designed. The bar is close to the section for small kids, so you can have a coffe and observe your child. The only downsides I see are the musty smell when the windows are closed and the fact that it’s not possible to order fries before 11. Monkey Park is a great spot for a rainy day outing. It has separate play areas for younger and older kids, so everyone can enjoy safely. The space feels secluded and cozy, making it a fun and stress-free place for to burn off energy. Lots of fun for the whole family! Staff were friendly even with our severe lack of German (we’re Afrikaans). Everything is clean. The food is tasty. The play areas are well looked after and most important our son absolutely loved the soft play and the super fast slides. Employees are doing their job correct but here you go why one star. We checked your website for this location and it shows amazing trampoline and our boys were facinated about it. We drove from zurich to this place just to be dissapointed that there is no trampoline as shown on the video on your website. Most of the negative experiences come from unfulfilled expectations and you have nailed it with this video on your website. CEO Rating Matters Muamer Celebic we visit 2-3 times every year, the only reason we go is because we are not too far, we feel that we go there to bother the employees, food is poor quality and expensive, and bathroom is not cleaned regularly, if you visit in the morning, you see that it is not cleaned well. It has potential but the employees look very depressed and unhelpful. It was great for for 4 hours to run around and release some energy. The food is good and there are many places for parents to wait while play. The only thing was four our son’s birthday party the good was supposed to be served at 12 and it was brought 30 minutes later, but overall I recommend it for a few hours especially when the weather is bad. We have been to Monkey Town the first time during weekdays. We came in the morning and stayed all day. It was not crowded (approx 10 kids). Overall the environment is clean. Bathrooms have steps for and there is an extra changing station room. You have one separate area for smaller Kids/Toddlers and another section with maze/slide/climb-Combo‘s and Coin-Game-Machines. There are also seperate theme rooms to celebrate events. The Monkey Town is one of the small/medium Indoorplayground in my opinion. Once you know where it is located it has a good public transportation from city center to Horgen, and then a small 5‘ walk along the main street. As in almost all Indoorplaygrounds „picnic“ is not appreciated and you can buy beverages, sweets and a small variation of meals at the Kiosk. There is nothing big I would complain but I would encourage 3 things: 1. have the entry/exit gate more closed/gated so can’t sneak out unattended 2. maintenance of the mechanical games and eventually putting up a sign that its out of order for the time being; otherwise & parents get frustrated as not knowing what is wrong 3. positive vibes I went there with my two in winter (10 months and 2 years). Sadly, 30 minutes after we arrived (just after the opening), my 10 months old got sick and vomited. I tried to it but as it was a carpet it was difficult. I called the staff to help. The person was very unfriendly and tried to but also had difficulties. Then she said it was my responsibility to (in the meantime my baby got sick again but luckily I was able to control that time to not have anything on the floor), left the products for me to clean, which was impossible as you need a specific machine to a carpet. For a place made for kids, I would expect the staff to be helpful with parents and being prepared for those situations as I am pretty sure this is quite frequent.
