One of the Most Revieweds in Attendorn Frequently mentioned in reviews: Top-rated.online cuts through the clutter, highlighting only the reviews that are most helpful, earn the most likes, or come from the most active contributors. Spent two nights in a tent with non stop rain on a climbing trip. Still had a great time. Camping has clean and plenty facilities. Positives * Excellent for those who enjoy walking * The bouncy cushion was a highlight for children Arrival and Booking Issues: Upon arrival, we noticed the reception struggling with a simple customer request for a receipt. What initially seemed like an unreasonable customer turned out to be a sign that the employess were not experience with the system. Despite booking a Camping Barrel (Fass) that was advertised with adjacent parking, we were initially told to park in the distant car park after unloading. Eventually, we were allowed to park beside our accommodation as originally advertised. This inconsistency suggested the weren't familiar with their own facilities. Accommodation The wooden barrel accommodation delighted our children, and we appreciated being able to park our small camper nearby. However, the initial positive impression quickly faded. Facility Concerns The site suffers from significant maintenance issues: * Abandoned, outdated shower and toilet block, i think nearly every hook was broken off! * "Temporary" container toilets rarely cleaned * Perpetually empty paper towel and soap dispensers Insufficient facilities (only 5 toilets and 9 urinals for the entire men's section) Management Problems The campsite's decline appears to coincide with EuroParcs' takeover. Their focus seems to be on selling expensive container houses as investment properties rather than maintaining the campsite. Customer service for campers appears to be an afterthought. Construction and Quality Issues The new area with container chalets: * Incomplete landscaping * Mud-splattered surroundings due to inadequate sealing * Temporary-looking wooden railings around gardens and steps Conclusion It's disappointing to see this transformed from a proper campsite into an incomplete "Holiday Village." The appear overwhelmed, attempting to manage both campsite operations and numerous complaints. This once-promising has unfortunately fallen victim to mismanagement and neglect. The best camping until now I have visited. Clean toilets and showers. You can make your own food in the kitchen room and the is very near by but the amazing and surprise thing is that on the photo....500m up and you can get this view on the photo.👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽😉 Great camping here. were friendly. Facilities were clean. Great to have the for swimming and relaxing. Right on cycle paths so easy to access the routes around the The place might be interesting just because it's close to the lake. The camping place itself is not really nice. We were there with a family tent. The place does not give you the pure nature feeling. The places are devided in blocks like a park in the city. It does not have a feeling of forest nature.. The are also not really friendly!!! We decided not to stay there and go somewhere else. A quiet place on the outskirts of Bochum (about 100 kms) on the bank of Biggesee. The camping place is very well equipped with multiple kitchens (hot plates), cleanly maintained bathrooms, sauna, washing room, playground for children etc.., Make sure to book your place in advance during the summer season. The were very helpful when they were available. A small kiosk at the entrance sells essentials and you can also buy breakfast bread from there (for large quantities order the previous day). Very affordable and well maintained camping location. I love this place. The campsite is in a great location. Very close to the lake. The amenities are very clean and really convenient. The is nice. Highly recommend. Thumbs up. An absolute dump of a campsite, the worst I’ve ever stayed on. Toilet blocks but no showers, no water supply , dodgy EHU, no Wi-Fi, no satellite points and just generally run down and past it. I’d rather sleep in a field. Had a great time here, is perfect close to the lake, the watchtower, center of town and the caves. We atayed in a tent with 4 people. No electricity. Showers where clean and hot.
