Whilst this is a quaint little experience they were not keen on younger children and it all ended up feeling a little awkward. Super, Brilliant morning out. We were there for almost 2 hrs. They have a great audio tour in English and it takes you through the history not only of bees but of collecting etc. They have a huge range of historic and modern hives from around the world and show you a detailed video on the lives of the bees, gathering and hive maintaining, and how they make their sweets. The owner was very welcoming, spoke very good English and was clearly passionate about their work. Boutique was also nice and reasonably priced. Amazing collection of bee houses. Tasty from the museum shop. Really interesting history of making and extremely friendly young family who own and operate it.
