While historically significant, there is not much to see for most people The attendant wouldn't let me take pictures from the car park when she said I was too late to visit. She might not have understood me as her English was rather limited 7.000 years of history... A unique location and a very nice experience in Ancient Greece History and Mythology!! Only for those who have the historical background to understand the significance of this monument. The rest will feel unimpressed, unless they can picture what a marvel this place was in its era... A unique site of interest, showing the civilization of our ancestors. Interesting small site for archaeological buffs - has some of Greece's oldest known ruins, including early Bronze age buildings such as the House of Tiles (covered, with partially reconstructed foundations) & a far older paleolithic home. Plan for a short visit of 30m or so to see everything & read the signs. It is being expanded & improved with new walkways & signage, still being installed as of late Nov. 2023. Cost was 2€/person. Open on Tuesdays as of 11/28/23, unlike some sites. Mesto je znacajno u istorijskom pogledu i mitoloskom. Odlicno napravljena istorijska time table gde mozete pratiti razvoj mesta iz duboke praistorije do savremenog doba. This is one for archaeology enthusiasts, which we are. The information boards could be better and the site is quite difficult to understand. However, there are plans to radically improve the facilities and building work is starting. I suspect that the site will have to close when the works get close to the main site and it could be closed for some time. Looking forward to visiting again when it reopens. There is nothing. Waste of time. Really liked this place with all the old building from the hellades period, 2100 2200 bc. Great place. Worth playing a visit.
