Everything was amazing at this little farm-to-table restaurant which we found just by chance when passing by. A truly creative fine-dining menu paired with flawless, personal and a wine list. The cheese board in the end left nothing to wish for. We will very happily come back! Virkelig en tur værd. Wonderful building, local food and excellent service. Make sure you try the cheese board. This place encompasses everything a country side inn should have. Ultra fresh local ingredients, sharp execution, delicious and affordable wines, heartfelt service, cozy and rural ambience. On top of all this, the deliciousness of the food can easily compete with other top Francophile restaurants in Denmark and outside, and the cheese selection of mainly perfectly mature French fromages is the best we have had besides 2-3 others in France and the US. Perfect - What a wonderful place with character and a unique atmosphere. We ate here as a family looking for an experience with different tastes with gourmet food. Everything lived up to expectations and much more. Finally the staff was perfect. Knowledgable, friendly and tentative to us - couldn’t ask for more with all the small details added through their expertise in guiding our dinning experience. Cheese table is one of best I have ever tried in Denmark. Kind people, good food, a cute old restaurant building to eat in. The location might be a bit of a scare to some, but it's definitely going to just for the experience. And with the new café, you can buy a lot of local produce, as well as homemade cured meats, fish and some freshly baked bread! What a lovely spot a bit in the middle of no where. They serve really amazing food. What I liked the most is that the food was just really well made. No dish wanted to be more than it was. I can only recommend to take the accompanying vine as well. It was a perfect match. And the choice between the cheese selection or the regular desert is really tough. Both was simply fantastic. They have also a lovely little shop with selfmade bread, pastry and a few other little things and you can sit in the garden enjoying the quality. All in all expensive, but really it! Beautiful food & lovely garden! One of my favorite spots north of Copenhagen. A classic french kitchen with a Nordic twist. Tinggården has been there for decades, and Jan has slowly moulded and developed the place in his own vision together with his staff. The sum is truly larger than the parts at this place. An absolutely wonderful experience. The food was phenomenal. Carefully crafted and absolutely delicious. Really one of the best meals we’ve ever had in Denmark. The only sad thing was that we did not leave enough time for dinner. (Entirely our fault) We had a 7:30 reservation and as we were camping nearby, had to be at our campsite by 10 PM) As a result our meal wound up being a little rushed at the end which is only sad because no surprise the desserts were spectacular. The chefs and kitchen were incredibly gracious when we told them about our time constraints . This is one of those places that came as a delightful surprise. A hidden gem absolutely visiting! But give yourselves several hours to really savor it. It’s it. Although we had no reservation for dinner, we were warmly welcomed from the staff. The was very friendly and the food excellent. We really enjoyed this and with our 2.5 year old daughter in tow, were looked after fabulously by the staff. food and an amazing cheese board. It’s also set in incredibly picturesque surroundings.
