We had a very very good dinner. Everything was perfect. Super friendly and attentive staff. Had a nice lunch with Danish smørrebrød at Rørvig Kro. I went for the new potatoes and one with avocado. Must deduct 1 star as my egg was not poached but almost hard boiled. Good atmosphere, friendly and helpful staff. Very friendly personal, got an english menu! And the food was delicious, bit pricey in comparison to Belgium but worth it. Free apetizer. A drink menu would have been nice. Perfect serving size. You could get extra for the price of 5 euro pp. Every time I go back to Rørvig I come for their great lunch or dinner. Great quality and service. And cozy both inside and outside. One of my all time favorite places! Except the service which was good, it was very poor. Most of the food we had was not OK: fish had frozen taste, pasta sauce was bad (like how hard is it to make a decent bolognese sauce?) and the French fires not tasty. Fisken i alle retterne havde en mærkelig gummi agtig konsistens. Lakse stykket blev introduceret som “let stegt” af tjeneren, og det var fuldstændig oversteget og tørt. Jomfruhummer stykket til bisquen var brunlig og så tør, at jeg måtte spytte det ud igen. Havtasken var sej, tør og faktisk også lidt kold, trods den blev serveret med varmt tilbehør og på en varm tallerken. Dertil var hvidvinen på glas ekstrem sur, så måske var jeg også uheldig at få en flaske der havde været åben for længe. Prisen og kvaliteten af maden hang desværre slet ikke sammen. We had a family dinner with our 3 year old and the staff was so kind to us. When they came out again, it was the same as before, half full/empty! I then found a hair in my glass after drinking the beer for a little bit. I show the waitress and they then make me a new glass and pour me a third of the glass intentionally. Unbelievable. They only care about making money and that's it. Awful experience. Overpriced. Waiter tried to go for increased sale and sell us water, but water was like 60 kr pr. person. Went to Rørvig Kro last night in the company of dear friends. Not only was the food exquisite but the serving was extraordinarily good. Staff that listens and hears their guests, and accommodates to the limits of what is possible for both children and adults.
