A bit disappointed by the Valentine's Day menu - only a couple of food and options, and mostly expensive ones. Felt like a cow in a slaughterhouse - you're led in only one direction... On Tuesdays they have tasting with a sommelier. Lovely spot, friendly staff, great wine. We found this place for a date night. The lady that I assume was the owner was so helpful and caring. She spoke great English and helped us to choose wine. We tried a Bulgarian with antipasti, a mix of cheese olives and dried meat. We spent few hours there and was a great experience. Outstanding selection I was looking for local Bulgarian when I found this place, and it turned out to be an amazing surprise and my favorite in sofia! The was excellent, and the I tried were truly delicious. I loved it so much that I had to come back the next night. This time, I tried two more wines, a main dish, and a cake. The owner’s recommendations were perfect—the wines, the food, and the dessert all went together beautifully. It was the perfect way to end my evenings in Sofia. This place has been on my list for years, my god why didn’t I visit sooner ? Incredible atmosphere, knowledgeable staff and with a impressive list that won’t break the bank. Food was delicious, and they didn’t hesitate to offer non conventional wine, and encouraged it further. A gastronomic centre for the senses. Cozy place, good location - It is located at the city center. The food was delicious. The portions were a little bit gourmet. Interesting list of wines. The staff is so knowledgeable but the is slow. Fine dishes and selection of wines! So glad I was able to come here in my brief time in Sofia. On Saturday night the place was absolutely full and booked up, yet totally empty when I returned Sunday night. The owner and bartender graciously welcomed me and recommended me a couple Bulgarian wines, first a nearly lost varietal of white, then the pictured Gamza, which was an incredibly expressive light bodied red. I also had a delicious schnitzel (not Bulgarian but exactly what I needed), and a crème brûlée, both prepared by the sweet owner. Cannot recommend this place highly enough.
