The quality of the accommodation was excellent. The location is very nice. The price is also reasonable. My one star rating is due to the fact that the access gate did not work on the last night when we drove into the park. We tried the access code which was given to us via email and it was not working. We called the emergency centre (on the intercom next to the barriers) and the person on the line said that there is nothing they can do about it and that there is no one in the park to assist! We then kept trying different codes and finally managed yo guess a code that opened the gate!!!! Our checkout was on a Sunday and at 9:20am the reception was closed and no one was there to give them feedback. It is not reliable if you have an emergency. I won’t recommend it due to poor safety and lack of support onsite. We paid extra and booked a basic pitch with tree house. When we arrived the tree house was covered in human feces, on every single window, the ground, the mattresses. Everything. All the windows were shattered/cracked. Front desk offered to have it cleaned for us. No parent in their right mind would let their kids play in there after it’s been “cleaned”. How are you going to clean feces and pee off of a mattress? How are they going to sanitize the tree house?? We were given a different camping spot (without the tree house). By this time we wasted half the day and asked for a late checkout. Actual treehouse location looks nothing like the advertisement. Showers and toilets were nice super clean. Nice pool, restaurant and fishing location for kids. This is our honest review. Everything was arranged in the end but This is how we found the place when checking in. Stayed here recently on an electric camping pitch. The shop and food on site was expensive but the local town is only a 2 minute drive away to stock up on supply’s. The kids loved the lake,splash pool and the parks. You get great value for money compared to the UK.
