Small and nice, come early if you don’t wanna bother finding a parking spot. The is beautiful, but the is quite sometimes. There are random underwater waves or flows which are like 5-10 degrees colder and sometimes can be even shocky. Huge plus there isn't much people and the surrounding area also astonishing, but prepare for that the sun can get down really early due to the mountains from the west! Stunning secluded pebble beach. It's a small hike down from the main road around a half mile. Get there early to get a good parking spot (there are enough along the road) and a good spot on the beach. Bonus points if you bring a foam pad, an umbrella and a cooler full of drinks, because you won't find anything at the unless there are some other friendly beachgoers willing to share. Ok, the is really nice and secluded but the here is as f... well, I stepped in the shallows and almost lost both of my legs. I guess mountain rivers pour in here and I guess there are underwater springs. Nice to be here but the freezing (in the middle of august) unables you to enjoy swimming. Only for the thick skinned :) There are few parking spots along the main road and the passage down to the is ok but watch your step. Loose gravel and dirt can make you slip. No dogs allowed on the but we encountered two. Nobody minded. No facilities, just couple of fishing houses I guess. Nice small beach, medium size beautiful round pebbles. There's a steam flowing in through the middle of the (depending on previous rain - nice to cool your drink! 😉) You must park on the side of the main road (not always easy, limited space), there is a long walk down to the beach, about 50m level from the road, the path is made with stairs and concrete (thanks for the locals for this! 👍) There are no facilities, bring your own food and drinks and add some to wash off the salt. Beautiful nature...water very due to underwater springs.... Not recommended for warm lovers.... One of the best near Opatija!! Parking is small, about 20 cars, and 5 minutes walk to reach the paradise. Water very clean and a cove to repair from the sun. Remember to bring the food for launch, there aren't bar nearby. We‘ve been there for the first time and it was such a beautiful and calm place!! The way down there wasn‘t that long. We really enjoyed the silence. The was so clear and it was great to go around the cliffs with the SUP!! Highly recommend if you like a calm day.
