If you haven’t already, definitely check out Buddy's. They know how to make great fast food, and they’ve been proving it for years! You have to try the french fries.. best i have ever seen. The chicken wasn’t even a whole filet but small strips of chicken the size of a baby finger. Who puts chicken strips in a grilled chicken sandwich, it’s not salata! Unacceptable. The were strange too. Never in my life have I been given that are long and flat! All small, unevenly cooked, some were black. I should have taken photos but I was too hungry and ate it in spite of it. Every time I go here, the food is different. Never had small chicken strips for a sandwich, never again. Marijana across the street gives a real like piletina filet. Should have done there. Came here because of the fantastic reviews this place has on Google. We ordered big bacon cheeseburgers. The bun, sauces and cheese were great, but the meat, the heart and essence of any burger, was HORRIFIC. The flat beef patties, very salty, super salty in fact, taseted like the cheapest meat you buy at a discount shop. Fat and tasleless, after a few bites both of us started feeling disgusted with the quality and eventually feeling a bit sick as well. Definitely not worth the travel, nor the price. Best avoided. It was not at all. I don’t recommend. The burgers were not good. They had too much mayonnaise in them. You cannot eat them properly. The only thing in this fast food are the fries. First time in Opatija, we googled this place and we are very satisfied. food and service.
