Friendly staff. Once every two years this place becomes part of the Ayreon "festival" that hits the city :) I wanted a big scone a bit out of the normal. The person helping me wemt and asked if it was possible and good thing it was. I got my delicious ice on a cone like I wanted. It was also great that it was not busy, so I could sit outside and enjoy. What a nice ice place. I live no where near Tilburg, but sometimes makes excuses to visit Tilburg just for this ice cream! Very good ice cream. The best on the city The ice is ok. But considering they use the same gloves to clean everything and then serve your ice touching the cone, I would advise you to get the cup! The ice at Intermezzo in Tilburg is very delicious, rich flavors with a great selection. However, the experience was completely ruined by the rude and unprofessional staff. When I asked to try a specific flavor, the employee accidentally gave me the wrong one. When I pointed out the mistake, she insisted she hadn’t done anything wrong. After asking again, she finally handed me the correct flavor but then started speaking to her colleague about me in Dutch. When I let her know that I understood Dutch and was aware of what she was saying, she simply responded with a blunt “ok.” The attitude and lack of basic customer service were shocking and very unpleasant. It’s a real shame because the ice itself is excellent.
