Outstanding Le Letty is somewhat limited when it comes to watersports. Unfortunately, the is only really suitable for two activities: stand-up paddling and kayaking or small boating. For windsurfing, kitesurfing, and wing foiling, the is not ideal. This is partly because the entire area is a shallow water zone, making it challenging to get up to speed within the lagoon. Additionally, the lagoon's orientation means that strong winds only occur on bad weather days or just before a storm arrives. Furthermore, the tidal effects are so significant that at low tide, the practically empties, making it impossible to engage in any watersports. Even at high tide, while the fills up considerably, many areas remain too shallow for wing foiling. The only reliable way to windsurf, kitesurf, or wing foil here is to cross the on foot during low tide and then practice your sport on the open facing the Atlantic.
