We were welcomed by a very nice lady that speaks perfect English. We were given a with detailed explanations. was free, you can tip at the end. We could taste all their products and coule buy at good prices. The products won many awards and they are delicious! Fabulous little Cidre factory. Tour was free, guide spoke perfect English along with the French. Tasting of the Cidre and other products too. We asked if we can have a of the place and the lady just spoke a few lines of the barrels at the door of the barrels storage and that’s it, it finished in 1 min. It’s quite disappointing as we were thinking that we can learn a bit about making of this brand and the history of this place after driving all the way there. The lady gave us a free and in English, was very friendly and gave great explanations! I would highly recommend this cidrerie, try their pommeau and lambig (and ofc their ciders) as well. There's also an huge apple orchard nearby that you can at the manor that makes for a nice quick stroll. We arrived near the end of a that had just been going around. Nevertheless we were invited to join in and join the tasting. This was just as we walked in the door. The women was lovely and spoke English very well, which is good as our french is very subpar. She was also very eager to do so rather than just begrudgingly speaking it. The itself which we were guided on straight after (which was free by the way) was really interesting and conclusive. I didn't know was fermented in the bottle lol. The is fairly priced, starting at €4 for a 75cl bottle. And delicious as well. Really lovely family run press. Our guide spoke incredible English compared to our French and gave us a brief history and of the barrels. Lots of different produce, 2 types of plus brandy of varying ages from the distillery. Well worth a for anyone visiting Quimper and wanting to try super local cider. What na experience! We really enjoyed Ms Ludovic's commentary; she was funny And extremely kind. Thank you for everything And we highly recommend a to everyone. 🍏😊 Manoir du Kinkiz was one of several mills we visited today, and certainly the best! They offered a (in English) and generous of their different products. We were really surprised by the distinct taste of the different ciders. If you want to a cidrerie, I strongly recommend this one! Friendly, informative, entertaining of the cidrerie. Great explanation of the cider-making process specific to the region that ended with a generous of all their products. Afterwards, you can take a stroll through the orchards and also the museum and distillery next door. was very informative and it was in english. At the end we had the tasting, excellent ciders and lambigs. It was a wonderful surprise and a truly great experience on a rainy day! The was given in both English and French, with very useful and interesting information about the cider-making process. The lady who guided the was extremely friendly and welcoming, which made the even more enjoyable. The was fantastic—the quality of the is excellent! We left with several bottles… and still wishing we had taken more. Definitely worth a visit!
