Check in with the machine at reception is fast an easy. On a sunday it felt a bit crowded at moments, it might be much better during the week. The spa/wellness wasn't super huge, but big enough to spend a whole noon. It was really and everything was easy to find. The fact that they only accept a certain amount of guests each day, is definetly a big plus too. Very clean, very spaceous, very friendly staff. The is beautifully decorated, the menu has a variety of dishes, snacks and finger food. Tasteful cocktails, fine lemonades. We were in the area for holidays, but we will return! I’ve been going to Spa One for a while now, but just getting a day pass and using the sauna facilities. It’s alway’s and there are so many different options that you can choose from. If you come during the week during the day, it’s not busy at all. Yesterday, my mom and I got treatments done for the first time and they were amazing. Our Swedish massages were done by Anne, and she really hit it out of the park. Truly the best massage we’ve both ever had. I also got the honey delight hammam treatment, which was so luxurious. It was my first time doing hammam, and I felt so pampered! I will definitely be doing both again. If you like a massage with lots of pressure that really gets into your knots, ask for Anne! Great massage. Staff was very professional There were different kinds of saunas that were exquisite. bubble baths indoors and outdoors. Beautiful modern interior. Food at the café was very good. Highly recommended. We used to go there very often on weekends and were very happy with everything. We still are to an extent, but only if we go during the week/when on holidays. Recently they added an additional locker room which allows way more people in than before, so on weekends it's a total jungle/stampedo. Not remotely relaxing to push through the hoards of loud people. Also, I noticed their food quality went down and prices went up (of entrance tickets too). So, all in all it would be much better if they just kept everything as it was, instead of trying to make more profits by pushing this space over the limit. Other than that, they have a decent amount of saunas and a great indoor/outdoor pool. The floor of the pool could be cleaned sometimes tho, as well as the moldy steam cabins. If you live in Breda it's very convenient to drop by after work for an evening to relax. Lastly, I'm absolutely amazed by their massage therapist Bianca. I've been to many massages in my life but this lady really knows what she's doing, you will notice a difference right away. She's excellent both for sports massages and classic Swedish. One of the best spa for me in the Netherlands, so far. It is clean, comfortable, copy despite of being busy during my first visit. The food is delicious. Area outside is literally unique and fantastic. I fully relaxed there. There is quite a big variety of "activities" you can do there. My sincere recommendations! The staff is helpful and kind. The Spa is and it’s easy to use the lockers. Lot of possibilities for different type of sauna. The sauna culture is respected here. Only one negative the quiet room is a bit noisy but yeah, bever meet a quiet dutch. They have a wich I can reccomend. Large sauna’s and spacious garden. Even when there’s 400 people inside you will still get to have a great experience with quiet sauna’s. There’s room for enough people during the included aromatic infusion. We usually go for 4 hours which is more than enough time. Truly a 5-star SPA. The ambient temperature is very pleasant, and with the multiple facilities available, the and lounge are so relaxing that you can easily spend an entire day there The floors get super slippery, something they really need to address. Other than that an amazing, and well designed SPA with great and friendly staff. I would recommend going here but be carefull when walking on wet tiles!! Hence 4 stars. The common opinion of everyone we have chatted there is that Spa One is one of the best in the Netherlands, so book ahead! I’ve been many times to Spa One and enjoy it every time. The facilities and beautiful and clean, the service is great and treatments are very good as well. Decently and modern, but overcrowded and with rather deceptive rules as other reviews point out. I was not allowed to enter the with a regular towel, it has to be a bathrobe. Clothes are also not allowed in the restaurant. Rather weird and this is not made clear in the website except in the tiny font house rules that you have to go out of your way to find. The people at the reception were not helpful at all and instead talked down on me for not finding their rules. The robes cost 8 EUR to rent, so make sure to bring one from home!
