Bu gravürden anlaşıldığı kadarıyla Mehmet Çavuş Câmii, büyük bir orta kubbe ve yanlarındaki iki kubbeden oluşmaktadır. Tek şerefeli minâre ile câminin yanında (muhtemelen) bânîsinin kubbeli türbesi de görülmektedir. Kubbeler kiremitle kaplıdır. Gördüs, 1687’de Venediklilere bırakılınca, şehirdeki Osmanlı eserleri tahrip edilmiş, bazı câmiler askerî amaçlı depo olarak kullanılmış, Mehmet Çavuş Câmii de kiliseye çevrilmiştir. 1715’te Türklerin şehri geri almasıyla birlikte şehirdeki İslâmî hayat tekrar canlanmış; Mehmet Çavuş Câmii eski hâline döndürülmüş ve şehirde yeni câmiler de inşâ edilmiştir. 1960’larda câmi yıktırılarak yerine Palaio Korinthos Kilisesi inşâ edilmiştir.
