This place is incredible for families. We didn't even go inside as the weather was nice enough for us to eat and outside. There are a ton of tables outside for parents to sit back and relax while the children run and go play. There's swings, trampolines, slides, climbers, a football pitch, and even a go kart track. They have an English menu available, and the staff were very friendly. They have a ton of savory and sweet options, and a menu that includes a toy. Food was tasty. Plenty of parking for cars and bikes. This was a perfect place for us to spend 2 hours this morning. Very happy children. Overwhelmed staff, unclean dishes, decent food. The waiter did not clean the dirty table when we sat down, after they placed our drinks on the dirty table we finally cleaned it ourselves. When we sat there waiting for 15 minutes after they brought the drinks without a menu, we decided to get some ourselves from the neighbor's table. Another 15 minutes of waiting until we could "grab" a waiter who would finally take our order... All together a very unobservant staff, probably way too challenged with the size of the restaurant. The glasses had stains on them, as well as the cutlery, which was also weirdly dusty, we at least tried to clean the worst off everything, but it was very unpleasant. The borrelplank we had first was very tasty and a selection of cheeses, ham and bread, i heartly recommend. The cranberry was a wild mix of bacon, goat-cheese and pancake, at first it was pretty exciting, but after half of the very large it was just a little too extreme. Since this restaurant has a huge area for children, i would generally want to recommend it for families with children, but especially the dirtiness is a total deal breaker for me. We were amazed to find this beautiful restaurant offering lots of options for the to play! Or is it a offering food on the side? ;) Amazing. They managed to squeeze us in as we were late back. English menu for the non-Dutch speakers, FABULOUS outdoor (the Dutch do it so well vs UK), with plenty of tables to sit outside and watch the young ones from afar. area well maintained and clean, didn't use the crazy golf but it looked super fun. Pancakes were great, I'd say a bit pricey for food itself but of course the benefit of eating here is getting +1h of free children's entertainment, so good value all considered.
