One of the Best Places To Visits in Epping Forest Frequently mentioned in reviews: Top-rated.online cuts through the clutter, highlighting only the reviews that are most helpful, earn the most likes, or come from the most active contributors. Silent deep forest. Best place to mind refreshing. Have places to spend with family and friends. Well maintained. Accessibility is very good. The one thing is , no drinking water facilities available. We had a through the top part of the which started in Theydon Bois, and headed north and back around via the deer park which consists of about four hours in total. It's a fairly decent and is very peaceful, relaxing and dry but there was heavy rain the day before. In the summer it would be delightful and at its best of course. There is plenty of information online about the routes which is helpful make sure to have Google Maps on you just in case, just makes it a little easier of course. Parking wise is easy, like £4-£6 at Theydon Bois station, which is part of the London central line which is handy if not driving there. A couple of nice cafes for coffee or tea for the to start with and of course a few pubs afterwards if you fancy it. Solid A**** LDT x Visited this massive forest! 2 months ago and forgot to give a review! Very quiet but peaceful forest. Strawberry Hill Pond was a nice place to chill and watch the ducks and relax with nature! Had a little wander around but wish I had more time to explore! Only saw only a few local people walking their dogs, cyclist and others checking out the forest. Lots of hills and pebbles around so do make sure you are wearing suitable hard wearing trainers! and suitable clothing to avoid bites and stings! :) There is a lot of history about this and only learned about it after visiting! Woooooo! - Scary stuff! Epping is the closest natural park in London. It's big and it's impossible to visit it in one bay but don't worry the are a lot of path so you can choose what's for you. I went into connaught water. The best way to go there is by tube getting off at Loughton and then by bus (20 stop C) till cricket stop. Just cross the road and you can start to on the path for less than 30 minutes. If you want to go there by car there is car parking close to the site. In my opinion it's a good place to have a picnic and rest with friends or family. IMPORTANT bring water My first time hiking. I really enjoyed hiking in Epping forest. I joined a hiking group, I went to this particular hike by myself and met some really cool people. They made the hike even more enjoyable and fun. It was so muddy and slippery but we all made it. I felt so good and accomplished after the hike. I ended the hike with some much needed food and a cocktail🤣… will surely be back at Epping forest, hiking again. Not sure when though The ideal place to escape the hustle and bustle of city life. Fantastic place Beautiful place for walks. Has good trails for cycling and horse ridding. Even in March, before most trees and grass blooms it's a pleasant and serene walk. Stunning. Easy to navigate. Well maintained. Perfect for dog walkies, just be aware some parts run close to the roads and some routes will cross busy roads too. I came here to do a 'Medicine Walk' which is a way of just walking sometimes for an entire day without any particular destination other than intuitively being guided by your heart, feelings, Greater Knowing...and noticing signs on the way through nature somehow. Well, I came across grazing longhorn cattle. So I sat, back against a tree, in their presence. I wondered what was so compelling about the white buffalo with long curved horns....and the answer came. Of course! White Buffalo Woman! Many of the Native American tribes believe White Buffalo Woman brought the Wisdom Teachings of the Elders to this earth. To me being in the presence of this white buffalo was reminding me of that...and that White Buffalo Woman was revealing her presence. An affirmation the Great Spirit is always here and has our back. We simply have to notice. I would recommend anyone and everyone to set out on a Medicine especially when they need an answer to life's problems or a particular issue the mind alone cannot figure out. Best to do this fasting though water is fine, and having set an intention in your heart-mind that an answer or answers are revealed to you. If you cannot formulate the words then simply place your hand on your hesrt and let your subconscious speak to Spirit....or ask that you receive what you need to know. Again, don't believe a word I say, rather experiment yourself and find out! Great lovely scenery right on my doorstep Beautiful, calm , clean, peaceful Say no more Website change monitoring Monitor any webpage for changes – get instant email alerts when prices drop, new jobs are posted, products come back in stock, or competitors update their sites.
