Lovely area for a hike. Some of the most amazing and far reaching views across the valleys I’ve had in the area! The little lake is lovely on a very hot summer day after an exhausting hike. Some relatively steep and narrow hikes that are not ideal for people that aren’t perfectly comfortable with heights. The longer main route from the cable car is definitely not suitable for younger children (route 4). Great beer and delicious Kaiserschmarn. Loved it. Lack of space and smokers' corner - big minus. Smoking is just wrong. Especially in such a nice environment. Minus for the smokers' lounge. Flow is amazing :) great place for bikining The lift up the mountain! Very friendly and helpful staff. On the very first trip up on the very first day i managed to pick up a puncture. I swapped tubes and before I knew it one of the guys had seen me and came out with a track pump!!! They showed and helped us hook the bikes up and always said hello and told us what the weather was like up top! Bike Park Petzen is an absolute blast. Whether you want to ride the Flow all day or go hard on Thriller for a hefty technical descent, this place is just straight up fun. The flow is buttery smooth and anyone from absolute beginners to hard chargers can enjoy it. The flow was absolute amazing! Thriller was little bit tricky, but they definitely know how to make a good trail. Prices are around average. Awesome flow trail, great place to visit for hiking or down hill mountain biking in the summer. Nice little restaurant at the bottom and cable car to the top. Longest flow in Northern Europe, highly recommended. I went to Petzen mtb zone only to see the Flow line, apparently one of the longest if not the longest in Europe. I was not disappointed. IMO you can ride this easily with a fully rigid mtb, no full sus needed. The faster you go, the more challenging it gets. I must agree, a red line would be a great addition, if rider is intimidated by the black lines. Meanwhile, just go with the FLOW.
