Great experience had here by myself & husband. Beautiful and scenic location!! It was our first time paddle boarding and we thoroughly enjoyed. The instructor was great, and provided all the guidance needed. Wetsuits, life jacket, paddleboard provided. Also had kayaks available for people to try. Great equipment and service, with a super owner! :-) Truly worth recommending. And if you’re wondering whether to rent some gear – do it! Frafjord is a magical place, and we really enjoyed our short kayak trip, seeing the from such a different perspective. We had a wonderful afternoon on the fjord. We felt like the was reserved for us. Gabriel was welcoming and couldn't be more accommodating for our group of 20 people with coffee, hot chocolate and a bonfire to keep us warm on this unseasonably cold august day. Kayaking and paddle boarding around the was an incredible experience. And the cold water was a hangover cure....just as he said. Skol! We originally only wanted to stay for one day. But we were completely captivated by the owner, Gabriel. The nicest person in the world, super helpful and friendly, we had a wonderful three days with him and highly recommend him. Incredible scenery. Our guide, Gabriel, was friendly, fun, and ensured we had the best time ever - can’t recommend this adventure highly enough. Communication was clear and timely, and he provided us with transport from Stavanger. We opted for sit-on-top kayaks and, with the wetsuits and boots (great range of sizes available, all very clean) provided, we also had the opportunity to swim in the when we stopped to drink from one of the waterfalls. The Sauna, right on the shoreline for dipping into the fjord, has an epic view, and is a great temperature. Clean, warm indoor shower and toilet available. The local shop beside the sauna does amazing milkshakes and stocks really top quality looking local produce. One of the best excursions we’ve been on. Gabrielle, such a humble and down to earth person, gave us the most colourful kayak, making the day even brighter under the sun. I can’t swim so he suggested to go us together in a kayak rather than alone in one. The wetsuit and boots are included in the price. He is very and maintains the place really well. I would definitely go back again ❤️ A really beautiful place and the perfect for kayaking without a lot of people around. We rend two kayaks for half a day and made a trip on our own, with sunshine and even a short heavy rain. The prices for the kayaks were good, and the owner was really nice to us! Would really recommend his service!
