Parking is available in this area and Teddy is a short walk from the parking spot. Whilst Teddy isn't one of my favourites, he is my partner's favourite and is another fantastic troll from Thomas Dambo. The search for the 6 forgotten wooden giants turned out to be a great pastime, we spent a whole day looking for all 6 of them around Copenhagen, making us visit places that we otherwise would not have seen. They blend very well with their surroundings and are quite hidden, even in the woods, which makes hunting more fun We have been troll hunting for someone and trust we visited Teddy. The idea 💡 behind these trolls is great and Teddy is located about 400 m from the parking area. There is a nice lake, shelter area close by and small, cozy walking paths I can recommend a visit with a picnic 🧺 and/ or coffee ☕️ Approx 1km walk to reach it, but really nice terrain :) Totally worth the hike! Teddy Friendly is a recycle sculpture Thomas Dambo made as a part of the larger project “Forgotten Giants”. This is one of them and invites the visitors to go on a treasure hunt, not only to see the sculptures, but also to discover hidden gems in nature. Its very interesting also for kids. I definitely recommend a visit. So worth the short walk from the parking spot. A typical Danish forest and lake with the troll surprise at the end of the trail. Endnu en af Thomas fantastiske trolde. Kan klart anbefales There is not much space around the giant to chill, just a bench made of tree. The google maps location isn’t quite accurate, but still in the vicinity. Totally worth a visit. Got us out of the city centre exploring. Such a fun day. We hired a car and managed to see all six forgotten giants in one day. 5 hour round trip including coffee breaks and lunch.
