This beautiful little beach sooo close to the center of Copenhagen is worth a visit...especially on a sunny day Good public beach in a residential area, with a comfy dock from where you can easyly get into the water. It's not too large thus in the busy days it tends to get full pretty quickly. Only downside is that when the algae remain in the shore, they tend to stink a little bit Winterbathing is the only right thing to do when it's this cold. A very busy place when people come for their ice bath. Other than that, it is lovely to walk by the beach and to watch the sun set. Several coffee shops are 5 minutes away, and warm clothes are needed if visiting during the winter months as the wind can be very strong. Nice little beach with shallow water and a small promenade. The water temperature in july was cold but tolerable. Beach wasn't full on sunday what makes it a good spot for a picnic or sunbathing in peace. I was here in November so I'm not sure if it's a great place to swim in the summer or not Beach is good reachable with S-Tog and bike. There is a public toilet close by. You have a good view to Sweden. Size doesn't matter but in the end it does when Copenhagen gets to hot and too many people comes here to bath. Anyways .... there is a fine bathing bridge and small pier. So you can refreshed by the cold water of Øresund. It's also possible to get something to eat and drink if you want to stay a little longer. Accessible by bike, lot of people kayaking, paddleboarding. It seemed indeed nice and lovely. smukt solskin!!
