Now a camping location well situated with a windy protection and yet with a seaside and beach next to the location Canons and relaxation. That will be a perfect stroll strand on a summer day. A nice high spot to have a sea view and overlook around this area, or enjoy the sun/moon rise.:) Also a lot of space for the housecar or camping. Charlottenlund fort, garden and beach! Charlottenlund Fort is not just an old military fort. It is also an exciting and beautiful park with a popular bathing beach and bathing establishment. It is located between Charlottenlund Skov and Øresund, and the open lawns form a framework for a wealth of leisure activities. Here is both the opportunity for sunbathing, play and ball games, picnics and a dip in the waves of the Øresund. The fort was built below Charlottenlund Castle as part of the Copenhagen Fortress in the years 1886-88. In 1910, it was rebuilt into a regular sea fort and was one of the forts that were to protect Copenhagen from attack from the sea side.
