Part of a group of historical villages in the center of Portugal, Linhares da Beira is a very well preserved Medieval village with a beautiful backdrop of the Serra da Estrela. It's very easy to image the history of the village, be lost in the memories of those narrows streets and be stunned by the views. Ypu have to know it's there, but well worth a visit. Great place for imagining what it must have been like living in the middle ages.
