Eddie and Katy were very helpful setting up our full day guided of the Cotswolds. They were super responsive, answered several questions and even gave us a very good recommendation for a lunch spot (lovely patio and best fish and chips of our trip). Peter, our driver for the day, was on-time (actually early) and had a full day mapped out for us in advance. Before heading off he asked for input on his suggested itinerary which was much appreciated and we asked to focus on more off the beaten path stops. He very much listened and while we hit a few of the “must see” spots, we spent a lot of our day wandering much less crowded (but equally charming) villages. He also had some great anecdotes about some of the more colorful past residents of the Cotswolds. It was a great relaxing day and so nice to be able to relax and enjoy the scenery and not having to drive We had the most amazing day exploring The Cotswolds with our driver, Vince. He was full of history and fun facts. The sights that he showed us were breathtaking. There is no way that we could have had such an amazing without him. We would go again in a heartbeat! Once in a lifetime experience, thank you! This was a fantastic which was customized for exactly what we wanted. Lots of roads less travelled, idyllic must see locations and a generous guide. I highly Phil as a terrific and driver - a local to the Cotswolds who made our a 10 out of 10! Can NOT say enough about this tour. Rob helped us accomplish everything we had hoped to plus SO much more. He gave us a perfectly timed, laughter filled day in the comfort of a beautiful air conditioned van. He was constantly doing little things to make the day more special. Booked a private and spent the day with Mr. Robin Dale who is so knowledgeable about the different villages and history of the area. He showed me some of his hedgelaying work and was so generous with his knowledge. He always ensured I had enough to explore the areas on my own and that I saw everything I wanted to see. What a unique - another human sharing their life history with you as you visit the most picturesque spots. I will remember this day for a long to come! My daughter and I had the most amazing day touring the Cotswolds! Our David R. was so knowledgeable, funny and flexible. He took us to see hidden gems that few people know about and far surpassed our expectations for the day! He feels like a friend now! If you want a stress free day(s) touring this gorgeous countryside I could not this company highly enough! Worth every penny!!! What an amazing day we (Myself, my elderly parents and my teenage son ) had with Rob as our leader. He took us to the gems of the Cotswolds, gave us the history and lots of interesting facts that we would never have figured out on our own. We loved learning about English culture. We laughed a lot and were fully engaged. The driving was perfection and I was so happy to not be behind the wheel, but to let someone else do the work while we simply enjoyed our day. He was incredibly flexible because we had a train delay out of London and he accommodated us with ease. The Mercedes van was squeaky clean, very comfortable and well appointed. It was a five star and I would definitely it for anybody travelling to the Cotswolds. Phenomenal! From the beginning of organising a private via email with Eddie, the was smooth and easy. The magic continued when James and Neil collected our group from the train station and took us on a fabulous adventure. We visited the Diddly Squat farm, Bourton-on-the-Water, Stow-on-the-Wod, and finished off in Bath, with a few quaint stops along the way. James was super informative, and easy going. He didn’t rush us, he was lovely and so friendly. And Neil was great too! Who doesn’t love a Scotsman! Our group consisted of 2 older people (one utilising a wheelchair), 3 kids, 2 tired parents and 2 other family members. I wouldn’t hesitate to this company. They helped with train timings, the transport was top notch, and it was just genuinely a fantastic day! We really enjoyed our 2-day private with Rob of Cotswolds Travel and Tours! He was charming and shared so much knowledge of the area. There’s no way we could have navigated those roads and towns by ourselves, so we appreciated his expertise. He went out of his way to make sure we got to our reservations and sites of interest. Highly recommend. I can’t say enough good things about our Phil or the company. If you’re thinking about booking, just do it! Phil was incredible! He is a local to the area and he made the whole day so special for my family and I. This was the highlight of everyone’s trip. Phil was organized, thoughtful and full of information. He took us to some cool places that we may not have known about. He followed up the night before to confirm pick up and then got us back to our train with the perfect amount of time. This group was a bit more expensive vs others I researched but it was well worth it. Highly this group if you’re thinking about visiting! Rob was the best Cotswolds-in-an- afternoon guide! He was so knowledgeable and kind – he listened to what made us visit the Cotswolds, and miraculously customized our to show us just what my husband and I wanted to see, all while making the day seem like hanging out with an old friend! Cannot enough!! Had a wonderful day in the Cotswolds. We planned our day with Eddie who accommodated our needs and wants. Rob our guide/driver was excellent. He had so much information about the area and interesting stories about each village. Would highly Cotswold Tours & Travel and Rob too! Where do I even start??? Choosing to do a with this company was the best decision I made for our England trip! From the beginning of the booking process to the end of our tour, we experienced professionalism and kindness! They were great with communication as well. We had an awesome guide, James! He was so patient, nice, and had so much knowledge about the region! I had my mom and two grandmothers with me. I truly appreciate his patience as my grandmothers are older and hard of hearing. I had given a list of places we wanted to see and he mentioned that he would also take us to some hidden gems. And I’m so glad he did! He took us to an old silversmith and we got to visit his small shop. It was a step back in time! It was so interesting to talk to the silversmith about his old family business and explore his work. We bought silver bracelets that he had made and I’m so glad we did. We found Coswold’s Tours and Travel online and it seemed to be what we were looking for, personalized tours of the Cotswold’s area and transport from the airport and back to our hotel in London. The company lived up to our expectations and beyond. We were met at Heathrow by Steve who was the perfect blend of friendly, fun, professional and knowledgeable. He took us to a number of sites in Oxford as well as to Bladon and Bampton on our way to Stow on the Wold where we were staying. We then had two days of touring with Dave who was also fun and knowledgeable. Dave took us all over the Cotswold’s showing us popular market towns, lesser-known beauty spots, skilled craftsmen, amazing churches, cathedrals, gardens and castles. A highlight was an afternoon with Anna in her kitchen baking and having our first Cream Tea. Our last day was spent with Vince, who managed to show us a few more lovely spots on our way to London. Vince was a great storyteller, and we were literally on the edge of our seats listening to him. Speaking of seats, the vans were clean, comfortable, spacious and equipped with drinking water and extra umbrellas. Cotswold’s Tours and Travel exceeded our expectations, and we highly them.
