Το ανοιχτό κολυμβητήριο του ΟΑΚΑ είναι πλήρως εξοπλισμένο με 2 πισίνες ολυμπιακών εγκαταστάσεων των 50m και μία που χρησιμοποιείται συνήθως για το πόλο και την καλλιτεχνική κολύμβηση. Οι πισίνες είναι αρκετά καθαρές και διατηρημένες μιας και τα έχουν συντηρήσει, μετά από αρκετό καιρό και είναι όμορφα με πολύ ωραίο φωτισμό, ειδικά όταν βραδιάζει και κερκίδες να κάθεσαι και να βλέπεις. Μονίμως προβλήματα, κλείνουν τις πισίνες για να κάνουν εργασίες και συνεχώς προκύπτουν νέες εργασίες. Οι άνθρωποι που δουλεύουν εκεί, προπονητές και σύλλογοι είναι άριστοι, αλλά δυστυχώς η συντήρηση των χώρων γίνεται με ρυθμούς χελώνας.. Grand construction but poorly managed and maintained.
