Personally I did not like so much….you have the hill (tumulus)….and nothing more. There is a pedestrian path a bit too long (especially in summer time) with only some info at the beginning and for the rest nothing…. However, it is the atmosphere that sells the location. See among old olive trees, it was quiet and serene. As you can see everything if you walk outside around, take the five euros entry fee to invest instead in the Archeological museum which is much more interesting. You don´t miss anything if you don´t go inside... A place like this should not have entry fee - it´s part of history. The Archeological Museum of Marathan is a whole museum with lots of info and the Helladic Tumuli for 5 EUR. I would suggest to whoever runs these sites to combine the ticket for the two. Also the Sanctuary of the Egyptian Gods has much more to look at and that's free.
