First time fishing for quite a while and my first visit here. The guy at the tackle shop was super helpful and gave me some good advice. The facilities are really well set up and clean. Enjoyed myself so much I didn't manage to use the cafe (will do next time). The owners have certainly got this place right. Will definitely be visiting again. Partridge Lakes is a fishery. It has several lakes for you to get a permit and away. It's also a fantastic destination for cyclists, actually, anyone really! It has loads of picnic tables, with fur on the seats to make it super comfy all under a heated canopy. If sitting under the canopy isn't your thing, there's an indoor seating area too. The cafe gets busy at key times in the summer so expect a long wait. The prices are really good and the food is really nice. No wonder there's a long queue. What can I add that you can't see for yourself on YouTube other than just go n have a really good session. Oh n NEVER leave your rod unattended. I only looked down to my side n ended up full-length diving into the reeds and up to my arm pit to grab my rod. It was that quick. my dad has terminal cancer and asked to go fishing one last time. Not been to partridge lake in years but always remember it being pretty wheelchair chair accessible so we went there.... Wow the place has changed, absolutely fantastic. The place is amazing didn't disappoint avd a good days fishing was had all round A great place to fish. I have tried at least 4 of the lakes now and they all well. Holbar has some big carp in particular. I look forward to trying gold as a member. The facilities on site are great. A huge selection of quality Guru branded tackle in the shop, and there is the cafe/takeaway hut for a bite to eat and a drink. A top quality fishery. Gets worse every year, Holbar has more weed than water and they still charge £12. All the match waters are well looked after but the day ticket waters are a mess. This was one of the better pegs today, it will be my last visit im afraid. Would get 0 stars Wow, the fishery is amazing. Great community feel, food is great and we'll priced, the site it's self and toilets are clean. This place is amazing. I've been here before some time ago, and now the last 2 weekends on the bounce teaching my daughter (10) how to fish. She and I love the place. The staff are all very friendly and helpful with both of us, the lakes are stocked very well. My daughter took her own peg(next to mine) the second time as the confidence she got from the 1st session, catching 20+ fish. We spent the whole day here both times. The facilities are second to none and have zero complaints about anything. Worth the extra distance travel to come to this venue, can't wait to get here again. This place has always been my favourite for at least 10 years. It seems clear to me that the best are being kept in the coveys for the daily matches. In my last 5 visits I have had very bad fishing. Of course it might be me, but I looked around and the guys round me were not doing well. Pleasure fishing is not the priority anymore, it’s all about the money spinning match lakes. Last fished here two years ago. Put a bucket and tackle down on holbar lake, walked back to the van to get the rest of the gear and got to the peg to find all my gear was gone (stolen, to the value of £1400) Management did nothing to help then or with the police. Fished the venue today, purchased a full cost day ticket at 13:47. Then at 17:05 was told "Make sure ur off before 17:30 because we're shutting the gates. I wish I could give a negative star review(at least)👎 Website change monitoring Monitor any webpage for changes – get instant email alerts when prices drop, new jobs are posted, products come back in stock, or competitors update their sites.
