Her property was beautiful, clean, and spacious. The location was secluded yet still close to downtown. The breakfast she made for us was homely and delicious. Any leftover meat she feeds to three stray cats on the property. What a great person. I can't speak highly enough of this B&B. I’m actually giving this place a 1 because the host, Breda, said she would send my sheep lined vest to be that I forgot. Text numerous times and she said it was in the mail, no package. Asked for the tracking number snd she said her husband had it and she would send, no tracking number. Told her I would gladly pay for it, she said no need. I would have rather her be honest then to continue to lie to me. DONT FORGET ANYTHING, YOU WILL NEVER SEE IT AGAIN! We spent one night at Heeneys Lodge B&B in Donegal, while touring in Ireland. The house is located in the countryside where you will find a charming cottage surrounded by nature and birds. It was the perfect place to rest! Our host was so kind and friendly, she really took the time to exchange we us and to give us recommendations to eat traditional food in Donegal. The room was very large, very clean and very calm! When it comes to breakfast, once more it was perfect, the full Irish breakfast was very good and served with enthusiasm! I highly recommend the place and I'll be glad to come back one day! From the moment we called to give our arrival time, we felt welcomed! Breda was a superb host! The lodge was immaculate, bright and comfortable! Breakfast was amazing and the rooms were stocked with everything we could want. The grounds had places to sit outside and enjoy the countryside and town was just a short ride away. Breda gave us super-helpful suggestions for how best to see the Cliffs!!! We hated to leave!!!
