Fantastic lunch! My wife and I loved the fish and chips, and it always goes down well with a Guinness! The was and personable, had a very chat with the tender/waitress. Thank you! If you're looking for and peaceful in a country side then this place should be on your list to explore. The is at Main Street of small town Laghey. They serve food all day with bar food served separately. We ordered Vegetable curry with Tofu option and Chicken Grilled Burger and to complete the meal at last we had ordered their Chocolate and Guinness Cake. The food was not the fancy one but was quite ok as there was nothing to differentiate but their Chocolate and Guinness Cake made our evening special. The staff were knowledgeable and helpful, offering recommendations to try from the menu. The was top notch and pretty handy when we asked to lower the TV volume as we had a child with us. The is huge and has loads of seating area and tables to accommodate a very large number of people. The soft lighting and comfortable seating created a relaxing and inviting environment. One can just freshen their mind by just looking at the decorative and creative pieces and arts all around. Every hanging piece of art had their own caption and own meaning to standout. The bar section is totally a place to look at. It was perfectly organized highlighting all the types of liquor they serve. Talking about the parking, there is plenty of parking space available at the back of the and they also have outdoor sitting as well to enjoy in the weather. Do not keep high expectations on food. The food tasted decent enough to eat so not a problem for eaters like me who do not seek 5 star taste and everywhere. Overall a place to enjoy your time. We stopped here Friday night on our way to Ardara. They had plenty space in the restaurant, it was quiet in a good way. There is plenty of parking, too. The was lovely and so was the food, we loved it. The cajun chicken wings were a marvellous surprise, so crispy and tasty. Would absolutely recommend! She told us a lot about the area and the history of Derry and Ireland. She explained the Irish language and generally made us feel welcome. The fish and chips are spectacular. The roast beef was next level. Fast and food. Don't miss it! We had our son’s christening meal with around 40 of our family together for the occasion. We were made feel so welcome and relaxed when we arrived. The food was delicious, everyone had a meal. We enjoyed it that much we went back for dinner a few days later and it was just as good. staff, food and warm relaxed atmosphere. We were traveling from the States and this was the best food so far. The atmosphere was welcoming and the staff was kind and helpful, and it was the best fish n chips I think I’ve ever had! Thank you! I stopped in after seeing all the road signs, and it was one of the few places open that was not fast food. The burger didn’t taste like a burger, nor did it look like a burger. The best thing about the burger were the onion rings that came on it. The fries tasted as if they had come out of the freezer with no flavor and were “hard” on the inside. A fast food burger and fries would have been more tasty and a lot cheaper. The goat cheese tart was average. Overall, a disappointing meal. The was empty save for a couple of couples getting drinks. Perhaps the atmosphere would be more lively with more people, but it was dead. The server was kind and checked in on me. I would not go back for food; perhaps on a night with music and socializing I would go for entertainment.
