The is fantastic, as was the service. This was a highlight for us during a long road trip. During a three week visit to Romania, this was the best place I ate. Stop here, even if you're not very hungry. Had a very nice lunch here. The lady serving is very nice and in November at lunch time, we were the only ones in the place. The food was and very decently priced - paid 80 lei for the fish, chicken, water, one coffee and one cider. Strongly recommend as a pit stop id you're in the area. Bonus - the fish is grown in the small ponds surrounding the restaurant. Very food. Fish is really to recommend. But also the breakfast was beautiful. The is awesome.... and the rest of the food is yummy and affordable .... great place to visit on a sunny day. Delicious food, friendly staff. We entered on our way back from the Transalpina with friends, based on the reviews and photos we saw online. We were pleasantly surprised. Nothing to complain about the food at all. Waitress was a bit too interested in her phone to keep an eye on her customers. Other than that no real problems. The positive: Food was good. The negative: Service was poor. One of the young female waitstaff needs to learn better customer service. If you ask a simple question you receive an eye roll and a half-hearted response. I guess she can't be bothered to do her job without an attitude to make a guest feel welcome. The wait for our (the main dish that this restaurant serves) exceeded one hour. It just seems unacceptable. Also, we saw another customer ask when their food will be out and the waitress ignored them 😂. Our waitress took our order by typing it on her phone. When it came time to pay she had to transcribe the order onto a piece of paper to create a bill and give to us. Just use pen and paper to start??? Best place to have a coffee or a beer, or to spend one ( or even better 2-3) in a cozy cabin to explore a beautiful and peaceful area Ich habe dort nur gespeist, die Köchin versteht ihr Handwerk. It was recommended by our host. The lady that served us was quite friendly and served us well. She forgot our french fries :) but we reminded her quite fast. I forgot to take a picture of our food but I took a photo of the A frame small house were you can stay overnight. We just had a dinner here, but the staff was kind and the food was delicious, I definitely recommend the trout! We left a bag with cards, documents and money with them. After a few hours we returned and they gave us everything back, they didn't want any reward and didn't agree to accept any money. We are grateful to the staff and impressed by their honesty Nice stuff and very very food☺️ Recomand cu drag, atmosfera e de poveste, iar munții te îmbrățișează cu frumusețea lor. La Țanc poți savura un păstrăv proaspăt în unt cu mămăliguță și sos de usturoi sau mujdei, e delicios recomand. De asemenea poți încerca și o porție de păstrăv la grătar cu cartofi prăjiți e delicios vă veți îndrăgosti de el. Iar dacă vreți să vă îndulciți vă recomand o porție de papanași cu smântână și dulceață de afine. Atmosfera este foarte plăcută, rustică și aerul de la munte te învăluie în liniște. Gazda e foarte simpatică, primitoare și mereu ne întâmpină cu zâmbetul pe buze. Dacă nu ați reușit să îi vizitați încă sper să reușiți într-o zi. Nu veți regreta!
