Was ok. The place needs better maintenance. Some items not working some tiles are loose and missing. Seems one rule for one and different for others regarding footwear. Very sparse amount of lemons in the lemon pool. I have been here many times, this time seemed like the place is tired, staff were nonchalant about things, then serious about other things. Locker rooms are very cramped with hardly any signage / direction as to where toilets/ showers are as pointed out to me by my guest It's a spa. But small. So when it's busy, it's very difficult to enjoy everything. You only get 90 minutes. But it's always clean and the facilities are good. There is a and steam room. Some other type of steam room that's not that great. Different temperature showers. Dip pool, lemon pool, water jet circuit. Swinging lanes, hot beds. It's value for 20€ Changing rooms are small. So when it's busy it can feel uncomfortable. You will need a swim cap and your own towel and a 2€ coin for the locker. It's definitely worth a visit. But I would avoid weekends. And after 7pm it's adults only. Which trust me... Is better. Clients cant use their own flip-flops. This nowhere in Europe is the case. They want us to buy their terrible quality flip-flops. Dry doesnt have a proper oven with stones to make fusion. Men are allowed in shorts that reach till the knees. When they get out of the they waste at least a litre of water, besides dry is always wet thx to theese gentlemen. There is no scale to weigh our weight in spa, nor in the gym. Lots of lockers are dammaged, and staff cant be bothered when we complain. There are no signs anywhere educating people what is not allowed. Often ladies go in the wet or dry with towel round their head, or even in bathrobe. I could go on forever. Many clients walk around the spa on very slippery tiles, because they didn't have the cheap slippers that spa offers. Many clients walk in and go in the without having a shower before. At 7pm should be adults only, but at 9pm kids were still there shouting. This spa needs a new manager. Whenever we stay on La Marina Urb we book in our membership for the spa pools. Lovely and relaxing! Can't wait to come back Very SPA, very clean, a restaurant with menu of degustation very quality. Do not miss it! Very ratio of quality and price! Short walking way to the sea. place! Muy buena experiencia. El grupo lo disfrutó plenamente Very clean and well organised spa. You do have to bring your own small padlock for the locker. Absolutely great. Have been there many times many years. Busca la hora más tranquila… We visited Marina Senses for a couple’s massage and it turned out to be one of the most relaxing experiences. Ana and Loubna were amazing — very professional and attentive. The whole atmosphere adds to the relaxation: calm environment, soft background sound, pleasant aroma, and a peaceful setting. Separate gratitude for manager Paula who kindly assisted with everything including the parking. We had our massage session together at the same time, followed by spa time, and it was simply perfect. This package was actually a gift from our friends, and it turned out to be one of the best presents we could have received. Highly recommended for anyone looking to relax and recharge. Excellent resort, reasonably priced! I've been to many of the spas in Alicante and this is among the best due to the range of facilities. Even better that I'm able to bring my child instead of getting a babysitter. I recommend it to all parents in need of a break. ⚠️ It's a little busy at times, ask them when it's quiet and go then if you can. Not impressed at all. First when I drove in it was very difficult to know where to park. Several large entrances and barriers with big advertising signs for whatever to wherever and plenty of restricted parking areas for more important people than the customers. Then I learned the door below the Reception sign was for something else, I think perhaps the Holiday Park so was directed to ‘go around the back’. After finding the gym and spa entrance/reception tucked away with no signs to guide me I asked for a day pass to the gym and and was told €25!! I said it was a day pass not a month and she just repeated €25 which is exorbitant for the use of a weights gym and sauna. I’ve been travelling around the UK and Europe for the almost a year, I go to a gym 3 times a week so have lots of ‘experience’ and even by UK standards this is expensive. On average I’ve paid €4 or €5 for use of gyms and saunas in Spain and Portugal and £10 in the UK. And to make matters worse I was told I had to use my own towel to sit on in the which meant I had to dry myself after my shower with a sweaty towel!!! Even more ridiculous was every half hour or so a staff member would come into the with a little spray bottle of water and spray it into the air to give the impression of water on coals!!! No coals obviously. In the male changing rooms the first shower I went into had no handle on the water control. I won’t even mention the red and white tape cordoning off a section of outside that I passed en route to the gym reception. Wasn’t really my concern as I wasn’t there to swim but just the same, when you add it to the rest of my experience it should have rang alarm bells. I can’t believe the arrogance of the Marina to think it’s acceptable to charge so much for a really substandard service, even €25 for a fully functioning gym and would expensive. I looked back at some other reviews and they’re along the same lines so this isn’t just a ‘bad day at the office’!!! I had driven from La Mata for an overpriced and poorly set up business that surely can do better. 2 stars from me. place for campers, but the spa and indoor - not so much. In fact I only have seen through window as I never get there seeing overpriced place with poor activity’s perspective. Not to mention fact you can only enter if you put piece of rubber on your head. That’s a big no no. The Spa 100% recommended, the breakfast in the hotel a 10 of 10, the Hotel very well! The only thing I could complain about is that in the room there were two single beds next to each other but as the mattress is a bit old there was a big gap between the two beds, so for a romantic weekend with my wife it is not to sleep in a hotel with separate beds. If they correct that it would be perfect! Beware of the thieves!!!! We have been here many, many times over the years as it is our local spa, probably spending thousands of euros as we often go to the spa then eat in the cafe or Italian restaurant. Today, my child’s €60 crocs have been stolen from the changing rooms. No offer of a complimentary pair of €2 flip flops to walk back to the car in. Very disappointing! The spa and gym located on the complex and can be paid for in weekly installments, I think €45 for the gym, but don't quote me on it. Good size gym with slightly dated equipment, but it has all you need for a workout free weights cardio area and leg machines upper body machines with a view of the Mediterranean Sea. The Spa is also slightly dated but still very nice. The highlight for us is the lemon pool. sized and wet room, ice dip lanes for swimming (20metres roughly) and a relaxation with various jets, jacuzzi flow pool. In all a relaxing day out. There is a juice bar inside the Spa area the changing rooms have cubicle showers The outside is exclusive for people on holiday there during June to September. We went to the outside in October and it's great fun! 👍 This used to be the best kept secret in the area. Now it’s a very busy , quite dirty children’s splash pool. The children leave just one hour before closing, giving adults hardly enough time to relax. Nothing about this place anymore. It’s a failure of its own success. This IS NOT. A spa. It’s simply a children’s playground. And the kids don’t actually leave at the right time. Avoid !! Unless you like being surrounded by loud kids splashing crying and no doubt peeeing . Maravilloso spa y en general todo correcto y unas instalación muy buenas Comimos tambien en el buffet y nos gustó mucho la verdad , volveremos el próximo año Espectacular Vlad, who works in the spa is an incredibly communicative person with a great personality. He’s always smiling and ready to help everyone. His positivity and friendliness make the spa experience even more special. I highly recommend this place, thanks to amazing people like Vlad!
