Not as big as other Teutonic castles in the area but the history behind it is interesting and the area around it is gorgeous. I arrived at 16:05 and although I already had purchased a ticket and the is supposed to be open until 17:00 the gates were closed and the guard wouldn't let me even take a picture of the courtyard... There is hardly enough to see for 30 minutes and I don't even care to come back here another time! Just go to Malbork which is much better anyways. Zachowane mury i wieża robią wrażenie, a nowa wystawa „Dzieje zamku w Sztumie” pozwala lepiej poznać jego przeszłość. Świetny punkt na trasie obok Malborka, pięknie położony przy jeziorze. Szkoda tylko, że nie wszędzie da się wejść. Polecam Jeden z trzech zamków krzyżackich w okolicy który warto odwiedzić, zwiedzamy jak poprzednie dwa z nagraniem. W mojej ocenie usytuował bym go jako 3 w kolejności atrakcyjności co mu nie umniejsza żeby go zwiedzić. Nice place to visit, the staff is super friendly. It's a very nice small which you are free to visit. There is a nice green space to play and have fun with your kids ( and an apple tree with delicious apples) .
