While I’m a travel lover, it’s always nice to feel a little bit of home while you’re away. Helen was the most gracious host and we ate hot dogs and drank and talked to Helen about their dreamy life! The was really yummy, a lot of us tried different beers- I personally loved the blonde and we left with a pack. Will make a point to visit again and you should too In the middle of this lovely village you find this nice bar with beers. You can even have a look in the of you want. The owners are very very very friendly welcoming France/American couple. They also serve gluten free beer. A must see when visiting Enguisheim! is a food group, so the food was top notch! Happened upon this place….actually happened upon the owner (Helen) who graciously gave us some directions, but directions quickly turned into her inviting us to her establishment just a few feet away. Although undergoing much renovation, she invited us in…gave us a tour and got to meet Timothy and their daughter. Of course we indulged in a bottle there. Coming from CA, it was nice to stumble upon some place that provided a verity of that taste familiar. The are top notch. We’re from Sacramento, California’s capital and Timothy’s offers excellent options. Although I didn’t try all of them, I bought 1 of each and plan to enjoy them with our French hosts who loves beer. I can’t wait to make my way back and visit again in the future to see their finished tap room and garden. Knowing this place is here, makes Eguisheim not just a wine destination but one that can also satisfy the lover that is done with wine and wants to cleans the palate with a nice offering of various brews. Thank you Helen and Timothy for the hospitality. This place is a gem—the only microbrewery in town. It's owned by a lovely married couple—one French, one American—with help from their daughter, who all make you feel right at home. They brew everything in-house, and the care they put into their work shows in the quality of the beer. We sampled every single one and genuinely loved them all. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the entire experience was unforgettable. If you're looking to enjoy an amazing in this beautiful town, this is the place to go. Chanced upon this little wonder tucked away in Eguisheim! And oh, what a rare and special find! The moment I stepped in, it just felt easy… like I belonged. Hélené, with her bright smile and that unstoppable positive energy, could turn around even the worst mood in minutes. And Timothy? He’s the magic behind the beers; passionate, kind, and you can taste that love in every sip. Together, they’re this incredible duo who make sure you’re not just visiting a brewery… you’re making a memory. Oh, and how could I forget the real star? Murphy; their super chill, utterly adorable Labrador. If he isn’t the official mascot yet, he absolutely should be! 🐕‍🦺 And the beers? Each one has a story. From their love for Big Sur, to Blondie, to The Yankee (yes, the jeep they got married in!), and my personal favorite a stout called The Black Knight. Smooth, bold, unforgettable. In a village known for its Riesling and Muscat, this little microbrewery is the most pleasant surprise. Go for the beers, stay for the people… and don’t forget to give Murphy a belly rub! ❤️☀️ I would give more Stars for the Service. We went into the cute little tavern After Christmas Market and it was just awesome! Tim was the nicest Host that i Met in a long time. Thank you again for the mate! Fantastic with truly delicious beer! I especially enjoyed the Blonde Ale and the Belgian Ale — rich, well-balanced, and full of character without being overwhelming. The flavors are smooth, the aroma is spot on, and you can tell it’s crafted with care and expertise. Definitely coming back for one more. Owner is from Minnesota, and North Americans know how to make a great beer! East meets West. Spectacular find in our wine/ adventure. Selection of Microbrews from blonde to stout (something for everyone). Dining off the production line. Fantastic blend of American hot dog and German knack makes for a unique experience. Definitely worth the short walk from city center. Tucked away in the picturesque village of Eguisheim, Alsace, we discovered a true gem of a — not just for the quality of the beer, but for the people behind it. Managed by a American couple, this place feels more like visiting friends than just stopping for a drink. The atmosphere is cozy and full of character, and you can immediately feel the love and dedication that goes into every corner of the brewery. The itself? Absolutely fantastic — thoughtfully brewed by Timothy, full of flavor, and with something to suit every taste. We bought to take with us during our journey. What truly sets this place apart, though, are the owners. They’re kind, generous, and clearly love what they do. While in Eguisheim, my partner and I ran into some trouble with our van. When we asked for help, they didn’t hesitate — they went out of their way, dedicating their personal time to assist us. Their generosity and genuine care turned a stressful situation into a heartwarming reminder of how good people can be. Stayed 3 nights in Eguisheim and visited at least once very day. Such a lovely relaxing bar. Helen and Tim are so friendly. Bargain hot dogs and real ale brewed on site. Thank you!! Caroline & Glen x We came to Alsace for the wine and stayed for the at Timothy’s. Set in the fairytale town of Eguisheim, inside a house with a storied history, Timothy is brewing some really tasty beer. They have perfected the of brewing and laid down the gauntlet. Alsace is now country. And the proprietors, Timothy and Helene, are lovely to boot. When your Alsace wine trail adventure stops in Eguisheim, and it will, grab some brews at Timothy’s. You will not be disappointed. Whatever you do, make sure you stop by to say hello to Helen and Tim Todd. Amazing people that are running a fantastic, small batch in the beautiful quaint city Eguisheim in France. Can’t say enough about their spectacular selections of quality (stout, sour, Christmas and many more!), the knowledge of the brewing process and of course the love they put into each bottle, can and/or pour. Do yourself a favor, whether during the cozy days of winter or the warm days of summer, stop by and have a taste of Timothy’s Beer! During a recent visit to the village, I stumbled upon your brewery, and I am so glad I decided to step inside. It turned out to be the perfect choice! The warm and welcoming atmosphere you’ve created, along with your friendliness as the owner, made my visit truly enjoyable. The was delicious—especially refreshing in the hot weather. It’s clear that you take great pride in your craft, and it shows in the quality of your brews. I’ll be sure to recommend your to everyone I know, and I’m already looking forward to my next visit. Thank you for the experience! Fantastic spot for a - we were served by the Hélène and had some of the best of our whole trip. The Christmas was a particular treat; a seasonal amber ale with spices and fruit. Delicious! We wandered into this great little when we were exploring Eguisheim for the afternoon. We were drawn over by the flags and the Willy’s Jeep in the entryway, and were greeted by the owners. My wife is from a French family and just like the owner spent much of her childhood in France, and we had a great conversation and tour of the in both English and French, followed by a great tasting cold and a few photos by the Jeep. Highly recommend stopping in here any time you are in the village for a fantastic experience. Friendly and welcoming atmosphere. The daughter made us feel at home.
