This winery makes worth shipping around the world. I bought some and shipped it home to the US. Their barrel tour and tasting experience is informative and fun and the staff here speaks several languages. Plus the vineyards are absolutely gorgeous, especially around sunset. The staff are very friendly and welcoming, they seem genuinely interested in getting to know guests and share the story of the estate. We had a lovely time outside under the sun tasting through a selection for only €9 which was then taken off as we bought from the shop. The 2017 Pinot Noir was top! They had meat and cheese platters for food. Would recommend anyone to visit, they are well made precise natural wines. Came in without a reservation but was welcomed warmly. We didn't do a tour (of which I've heard is great) but the tasting was brilliant. Really unique of high quality. We left with multiple boxes of beautiful wines. Delicious wine. Excellent service. Generous cheese and antipasti platter. Very friendly staff! Beautiful view of vineyard. One of the best wineries in France. Must visit and must try! The area is beautiful, the is amazing, and the family that owns and operates the winery are polite, personable, and passionate about what they do. Learning about their organic, biodynamic making processes was très intéressant! I highly recommend making the trip to Achillée for some unbelievable wines, locally sourced charcuterie, and unforgettable views. Lovely tasting and tour. We really liked the tour - it was extremely informative but not too long which meant we had more time for tastings. We learnt so much about natural and biodynamic wines. ☺️ The whole building is full of character and it was also cool to learn about how they designed the building to be so sustainable.
