First thing to do when you are in Colmar. Highly friendly people at the information desk. They do have the city maps and information about the things to do and explore in and around Colmar. Neat and tidy office. Mini Venice... beautiful!! 🥰😍 Day trip Outstanding. Gave us bus schedules to get to Statue of Liberty and Audie Murphy memorial. Bus 7 to statue and 346 (Quai H 24)to Holtzwihr for Audie Murphy. We did both in one day. This is the first time I ever visit a tourist office. I need to say that the here is just AMAZING. Super friendly and super clear for tourists who are just not used to local transportation. They provide with maps and bus hours in print, so you can carry with you. If you have doubts when using the Vialsace app to get around, don’t hesitate to come to the Colmar Tourist Office, you will leave with no doubts and a big smile Very useful for tourists, you get a map of the city with some basic information for free. Half of the is hot af. You can also buy some souveniees for very decent prices and support the city. If you are in a bug group a d the sun is shining than you can hide in the shade infront of the entrance. We had the most wonderful member help us! We are from Canada and she went over all of the maps and bus schedules for us to day trip to the other villages! We successfully did all of them with her recommendations! We couldn’t have done it so well and without stress without her help! She was absolutely wonderful and I would say the most helpful we have had at a tourism office! I wish I would have asked for her name! Very useful office! Free maps, very pretty girl at the counter! You can buy some small souvenirs and books about Alsace! There is everything you need for your visit in this tiny city! The tourist was our first stop when visiting Colmar, and it proved to be very helpful. We were assisted by Karine, who provided a clear overview of how best to explore the town, pointing out several notable areas and museums. Her knowledge and assistance was very valuable and we really enjoyed our trip. We appreciated her help and would recommend starting at the tourist when visiting Colmar. Really nice and helpful staff. Centrally located with very nice and helpful employees who were able to speak English with us since our French is horrible. We were able to book a tour and buy a few souvenirs was helpful and can speak fluent English. We arrived around 1030 am and was told that the round trip bus around the Alsace villages were booked out. They suggested to only visit Eguisheim as it’s nearer and also the nicest village. That was accurate as it turns out we only had time to fully visit Eguisheim (1.5 hours) + Colmar. Only downside is it’s a little far from the train station. Veey good n friendly Very professional and knowledgeable staff. They have information on bus schedules, tours in city and surrounding areas, and activities in Colmar. Can speak English and French. Mostly accurate information but could not change money and sent me to a dead atm... went back and they directed me to a working one, but lost time...
