One of the best bar on this part of the coast, the food is nice the view is amazing and it’s really close to the zwin park, we had mussels with fries, the portion were really big and the mussels were quite big and meaty so thumbs up . I’d definitely suggest to stop here if you are biking along the coast or just to park your car there is a big parking area not far Great location and very beautiful building, inside and outside. De Zeemeeuw is a bar - restaurant located on the shores of the North Sea along the Netherlands - Belgian border. The hummus plate served with roasted vegetables and pita bread was tasty. The cod with mashed potatoes was also delicious. For the view and the food, highly recommend The meal was really sumptuous here. I don't like turkey, but the turkey here changed my mind. There was about 19 of us, and the waiter was really amazing ensuring all our requests were dealt with. If you at the beach, this place is worth a visit, I'd certainly recommend it. I visited this restaurant yesterday for dinner with my fiancé and his family. The service was excellent, but the food wasn't very good. We ordered the special of the day, clams with garlic sauce. The portion of sauce was absurdly small. The clams were fresh, but nothing else was offered. The toilet was dirty. A bit off the beaten path, fully worth the walk/bike ride. Don’t miss the mussels in white wine and the mojitos. For the first time in the Netherlands I paid €8.40 for tap water though. Luckily the fantastic views makes up for the poor food. 2/3 of the sweet potato cubes in my salad where plain raw. A pitty, could have been a really nice spot to eat.
