Still always worth a visit. Nice atmosphere, fast service and fair prices. Really well located cafe with some daily offer and with affordable prices. But with this I run out of all the positives. The service have really bad attitude and you have to really try hard to stay nice on them and not give them the same behavior back. Moreover, it took us almost 20mins to pay with the waitress and they accept only cash (which I hadn't seen any notice, which would informed the customers in advance, so I was bit surprised). The food wasn't good - kaiserschmarn was oversalted and almost cold (I would say one of the worst one I ate) and the tomato soup was super sour. Furthermore the interior looked bit cheap and like in the retirement home. Only the views out of the windows were 👌🏻. Lovely café in the centre of Steyr! We ate very fine soups. It warmed me up in the cold. Huge portions, the service is first class. One negative was that we could not pay by card. Stressed staff decided to be ridiculously aggressive to customers. After the initial amusement at this, it became obvious that this was no joke. They must do better. Nice view and service. Just cash.
