Guiness is outstanding, you can tell they take care of their beer lines. Food is very reasonably priced. Lunch in here is hard to beat. It's full for lunch every day with all sorts of folks from families to happy farmers. Service is friendly and efficient, you'll be made to feel very welcome here. All my girls love coming here, always a reliable spot for food. Fast ,Friendly service. Big portions..dog friendly..courtyard (heated) Enjoyable place for a pint and some food. Had a great lunch. Adies/ the swan is a local wee boozer wi a lovely atmosphere. Folk were lovely, food was filling and good for the price. Had a lovely evening after a long day but sadly was too sleepy to hold out for the live music which seemed to happen very often. Only one issue, server kept on forgetting my pint. Would have preferred just to get my drinks from the bar, but was ordering them so was unsure what was easier. The Guinness was sadly too cold though. Was hurting my teeth. Tasted delicious don’t get me wrong, but not one for extra cold Guinness (I didn’t order the extra cold) Irish beef 🥩 Crazy Good:) Recommend:) Used to frequent this bar in the 70's and 80's during fishing trips from England. Had an opportunity to visit while passing through a few weeks ago. While the town had changed more than I expected, it was nice to see one instantly recognisable hostelry. What was even better was seeing a familiar face from all those years back. Lovely to see Aidie and reminisce over a few pints of superb Guinness. Very friendly staff made for a great couple of hours.
