The bar was full of football memorabilia as well as entertaining locals. The landlord is obviously something of a Liverpool fan. We were just passing through, doing an overnight at the nearby campsite, on our back to the ferry in Dublin. We had pizzas washed down by a couple of pints of Guinness. The pizzas were excellent value for money at €10 each and very tasty. The landlord is a lovely, friendly guy who made a couple of travellers feel very welcome. Wonderfull local pub next to the camping site - we had a quick pizza and a few drinks last week. As we were leaving we asked the owner for an umbrella as it started to rain. We forgotten to bring it back on the next day and realized it only about 200km away from the site 🤦‍♂️ Hope the new umbrella we ordered arrived by now. Thanks again for your hospitality and all the best in the future for you and of course the Liverpool F.C. 🙌 Lovely pub, does a great pint, barman there at the time was really friendly, chats away to you which is nice. Would highly recommend a visit Lovely pub with the friendliest staff and a great atmosphere. Pool table and live music. Lots of sports memorabilia to look at. Pints of Guinness were delicious! They have a pizza menu which is great value and just what you fancy after a few drinks, simple but effective. What a cool little spot. Beautifully situated by a little river. Very well kept, awesome staff and the crack was mighty as they say! Dogs, kids and ducks all welcomed. If you are in the area dont miss this top spot Great spot near the campsite, good selection of drinks and bar snacks, extremely friendly staff, dog friendly and pool tables! Good village pub all pizza at 12. Music in Saturday at 21:30 My old local, but even over 20 years of drinking here I can earnestly say its the best and most consistent pint in Ireland! Great owners, super locals, you'll always feel welcome and have a laugh...yup five 👍's up!
